Yuneec E‑Go2: a $699 electric skateboard with 18-mile range

The Yuneec E‑Go2 is a good, but not great, electric skateboard. Riders who can’t afford a Boosted Board (or don’t want to wait to save up for one) should definitely give the $699 E‑Go2 a look, especially because of its excellent 18-mile range.

ez early comment verge please say cheese
will these things take the weight of fat western people ?
I’ve tried SoundHound, Shazaam, and Google Sound Search, but I can’t identify the song.
I’m annoyed by them saying everything is a skateboard. Even in this video they call it a long board once and then call it skateboard and the video name has skateboard. Same with the boosted board. That’s a longboard.
When your brand tries to be unique by spelling unique — yuneec
Has The Verge ever pinned a comment??
I’ll buy that when the price drops to 10$
how speed??
When Yuneec ego1 came out, there weren’t any other electric skateboards other than Boosted. (There was none in alibaba. now you can see hundreds) So it was a good option to buy. I had it for 2 years and I don’t think I will use it again. It’s too slow. it’s good as sidewalk cruiser but you wouldn’t want to ride on bike lane. The biggest issues I had was the motor can die on any day. I had this happening few days after I replaced the motor. So one day, it might just throw error code and you would have to replace the motor. There are too many options to choose from now. I would stay away
you can get a Blink Lite for $200.….
플라스틱인가?
18 miles WOW I am impressed
Hi ,
great video . BUT I have a question :
“Do the wheels spin freely after the battery dies? If I don’t turn the motor on, can I use it as a regular skateboard?”
What is the song called in the intro?
$269 on ebay
$353 on Amazon right now
But that sunset though
Hah u spent 300$ more than I did I got it for half price on amazon
Not it’s $299!
i know this is old… but the verge has no good reason to bullshit you about a esk8 board reviews. they are clueless about electric skateboards.…. the verge should stop lying.
Now I can get it at a store in my area for 289 Euros
The remote is a compromise??? Besides the awesome and reliable range, the remote is the BEST thing about it. Do you know WHY a famous RC drone specialist would venture into.…skateboards? Because they could apply their experience with intuitive programming and proven battery technology to them. For Yuneec, this was a commuter board. A mode of safe, reliable transportation, but fast enough to carve. It’s been 3 fun filled trouble-free years for me. Anyone who doesn’t give these the highest ratings available is either bias or a skateboarding/RC novice.(Full disclosure, I have an E‑go Cruiser and a Boosted. I’ll take the Yuneec any day.)
Now it is only 300€
im pretty sure the Verge regrets this review LMAO. Thats why you shoud not look at the VERGE for esk8 reviews.….….…
Nice. But speed is slow and the price is high!
