0:42 — I haven’t had many problems with Android Apps on my ASUS C100PA, which I think was one of the first to get Play Store access. In fact, I’m actually pleased on balance at how well it seems to work.
There are a couple of popular games that currently are flat-out incompatible and literally cannot be installed on a Chromebook (Terraria Mobile and MineCraft: Pocket Edition being the two I’m aware of, sadly, since I like both), but beyond that the only real issue I had was with YouTube crashing when I watch it via the YouTube App. Through the Chrome browser, no issue. Possibly I’ve just not got anything installed that requires any kind of horespower to run it, dunno.
(Word, Pandora, Overdrive, Kindle, Nook, Axis 360, Crashlands, Twitch, several others.)
what music is that and is it copyright free
With android apps working well on a chrome book. Mac Books and Windows pc better watch out. For now I’d choose the Surface pro.
I’ve been waiting so long for Google to release the play store to all chromebooks it’s just getting so annoying
chrome os is the future
Note to the pretentious dipshits who made this video: you’re making a tech review, not oscar bait. Get over yourselves
This is the Internet.
I live my life in beta mode too and I would not reccomend it, 3/5 wouldn’t play again
Can you edit video on this?
What’s the background songgg?
Tech companies should pay ppl for using their unfinished so called beta products
Only a person that does no real work will think about replacing their Windows/Mac with a Chrome browser and android apps…
Good video, but put on your glasses again.
if it doesn’t work, don’t sell it?!
Im thinking in getting a Chromebook but im not sure if it gonna fit my needs: I need a text editor it can be office, drive, etc (offline mode), watch some movies and series in Netflix, watch videos in YouTube, browse the web, dvd player, USB slot, HDMI slot and long life battery.
Should i buy i Chromebook?
1:35 Take your shoes off when you’re on the sofa you slob.
So far Reviews on the Samsung ChromeBook Pro have lagged/shuddered during Android App demos, any updates or optimizations to this or will it always be sub-par with Android Apps? Would like to see a comparison to how the Plus handles the same..
Who will pay $550 for a web browser?
Name of the song ?
Probably the only honest review
What was that named app you were playing?
i ll buy it vry soon , & i realy lv this device
Who else is watching this on their chromebook plus?
I would get the Dell Chromebook 13.
Love the cinema, though.
Intro music ?
If only it would release ));
Woah, the cinematography and music blown me out just for a Chromebook ! hope you make more videos like this Verge !
This is handsdown the best video review making in history. As far as I’ve seen. I’ve seen a lot! Keep this goodwork for other Review.
I freaking love my Chromebook Plus. Can’t recommend it enough!
I get what u mean going back to stable
does Hearthstone work well on it??
What is the song at beginning of vid? Saw it on what’s inside family and remembered hearing it here.
These Verge vids are really dope okay the quality. Keep it up.
Samsung chromebook pro with 128GB memory.. Faster processor, even more ram and $500 price… That’ll kill everything.
If anyone is wondering…they pulled it off by now.
Do you have to do this with the sarcastic intonation in your voice?
An update of this would be cool. Is it good today?
Works great now! Maybe do a throwback review (;
Lol it’s funny now they’re calling it “expensive“
1 year later BOOM 1000 dollar chromebook (Then there’s Canada where it’s around 1300–1450)
Asus 302ca is way better because it has a 12.5 inch 16:9 screen and also it has a backlit keyboard for around $450
Can you do an update video?
can we download APK files (not from googleplay ) independently & it picks up?
