Who sold them in Africa to the traders? And how were they treated in waiting to be sold to rich white traders…
The use of the term “enslaved people” makes the whole tragedy into an eye-rolling woke trope.
Peter Gore Seer,
Today We In Britain Use Slave Work Agency’s.
At least they were all employed back then.
Horrible
Slavery was not just the greatest stain in American history but all of humanity
As a privileged white kid my parents made me watch the entire Roots series and Amistad. Both of those movies were burned in my brain when I was young and I’m SO glad I knew of this because my school teachings simply touched on this topic. I just don’t understand at such a sophisticated and enlightened level how you could justify this.
i have to google what a septic tank is..
The use of the term “enslaved people” makes the whole tragedy into an eye-rolling woke trope.
Now we are used to say that one could do anything with his slave. But absolutely not everything, what you want to do, could be done. There was public morality, social and religious foundations, different kind of game rules. It was impossible to fry a black man and to eat him, for example. And a lot of things — including, it would seem, useful and even necessary for mankind — could not be done with a slave, as it was forbidden by society.
again how did we benefit?
As a Spaniard. Allow me to apologize on behalf of Spain for catapulting the slave trade
this is why colin kapernick used the terms “poke and prod”
now i know why and now you do too
Golden age
Time 0:45. Do the merchants of slaves are also the black people?
This is lies , the slave trade is flipped blacks we’re already in the Americas when the Europeans arrived they were known as the indigenous peoples, some of them were ported by ships over seas that’s were they were sold . Do your research people we’ve been taught nothing but lies for decades!!!!
What’s funny is people in the present criticising people on the past. These ppl got no brain cells.💀
Think about it. For slaves, the easiest part was the trip… 😢
very sad
very very sad
It seems that a history of slavery cannot be taught seriously in the US. BTW ever heard of Circassians?
