Aboard the Inter­na­tion­al Space Sta­tion, Expe­di­tion 50 Flight Engi­neer Thomas Pes­quet of the Euro­pean Space Agency dis­cussed life and research aboard the orbital lab­o­ra­to­ry and his view of the Earth from orbit dur­ing an in-flight ques­tion and answer ses­sion March 20 with stu­dents gath­ered in France to rec­og­nize “World Water Day”. Pes­quet is in the midst of a six and a half month mis­sion on the station.
