Aboard the Inter­na­tion­al Space Sta­tion, Expe­di­tion 50 Com­man­der Shane Kim­brough and Flight Engi­neer Peg­gy Whit­son of NASA dis­cussed life and sci­en­tif­ic stud­ies aboard the orbital lab­o­ra­to­ry dur­ing an in-flight edu­ca­tion­al event April 3 with stu­dents at the Bet­sy Ross Ele­men­tary School in Ana­heim, Cal­i­for­nia. Kim­brough will be return­ing to Earth April 10 aboard a Russ­ian Soyuz space­craft while Whit­son will remain in orbit in the midst of her mis­sion on the complex.
