Act­ing Admin­is­tra­tor Robert Light­foot dis­cussed our Fis­cal Year 2018 bud­get request on May 23, dur­ing his State of NASA address. $19.1 bil­lion is being request­ed for the agency, under the president’s bud­get pro­pos­al, a sign, Light­foot says reflects the president’s and the administration’s con­fi­dence in NASA. Light­foot thanked employ­ees and attrib­uted the con­fi­dence reflect­ed in the bud­get pro­pos­al to the work of thou­sands of peo­ple.
