Sweet!
Effectively ruining ANY success they would have ever gained.
Wasn’t this supposed to be a cheap alternative to an iPhone, from one of the guys that worked on iPhones???! Shouldn’t it be no more than $200???!
At first I wanted the google pixel but I don’t have Verizon and I can’t get the essential phone because I don’t have sprint why guys 👎
what makes this phone better than any others phone besudes 360° camera that i probably will never use
It wont sell shit
I would rather buy xbox one x than the phone.
yeah, i’m coming
Pixel better step its game up before Essential really gets hot
And that’s how you bury your own grave
Only happy for this because I have a Sprint store not even 5 minutes away from my house… now I can get a hands-on to see if I actually like the phone, lol

Well there goes that device. What a waste of a good device. R.i.p
making it $700 is whats going to kill this thing
sprint = no Service
How not to make money? Make it a Sprint exclusive!
pixel phone was a Verizon exclusive, its the biggest network. HTC U11 and Essential phone are on Sprint only. Sprint is the worse cellphone provider in the US.
as a Sprint customer… finally we get an exclusive! we miss out on the OnePlus line so this could make up for some most exclusives.
verizon has the pixel and now sprint is getting the essential phone whats next?
I love all of the negativity. Leave it to humans to never have anything good to say about anything. Maybe because both Sprint and essential are challenger and disruptor brands this is a good fit. Sprint is not the same company or network it used to be. The old guard is changing.
Yes, the phone will be sold exclusively at Sprint stores, BUT, you can still purchase it online, (through Essential’s website) AND it will ship UNLOCKED to work on ANY carrier, according to this video. It’s a marketing strategy to recruit new customers to Sprint as well as making the product available to the consumer for a “hands on” experience. I am a Sprint customer, and really can’t complain about the quality of their network. I agree with some other comments on here regarding the improvements to the network, customer service, and quality. Every carrier is going to have issues, and it all depends on which works best for you, and your needs. 🙂 At least you can “use” a Sprint store to try out this new phone, and order it unlocked.
