I have loads of respect for this guy but I don’t know why folks are so hyped about the whole iPhone thing, I mean don’t get me wrong I’ve used blackberry, android and am currently using an iPhone 7 but I don’t know why iPhone gets so much attention as its saviour of humanity or something. I like iPhones but I also like android and was a big fan of blackberry OS. If you cover your 👂 and close your 👀 and believe everything what Apple says I don’t think you realise that it’s 21st century and there’s a lot of choices. iPhone is not the only smartphone out there.
Moss ist the boss
It’s crazy because it wasn’t really that long ago but it feels like a lifetime ago because how much tech has advanced since then.
I remember when this came out and thinking it was a joke that it didn’t even have 3G

so Austin posts a video about the first iPhone and you followed? lame
Apple rules all lol
but does it still actually work? turn it on
Great video, but the music selection was extremely distracting, like listening to Einstein but being distracted by an annoying tie.
Yeah my dad sold these in Myanmar yangon
austin evans
hate them all you want but people are going to keep posting the same comments for likes
Let him do all the reviews from now on. Others in verge sucks. Have u guys seen the shaken hands im the bixby early first look?
you have any second hand iPhone???
Thanks Steve for this amazing invention!
I cringed when he hit the phone against the table at 2:25.
I love iPhone
My biggest wow moment with the presentation of this phone was the “pinch to zoom” effect. It was just something so unseen at the time.
Guys also checkout my channel . I make video about Review, Technology news !
1:47 thats what she said
Many CEOs from rival companies at the time laughed at the idea of iPhone. If it wasn’t for Apple, we might not have been using the touch screen smartphones that we are using now. They said that there is no way people would want to type on these flat screens because you need physical keyboards and iPhone is going to fail so hard. Look at where we are now?
More like back when apple was actually making phones
Insightful
Watching this on my iPhone SE!
How young youtubers have turned Walt obsolete 👍👌
I have one.. Should have never ditched the body design. It was pretty perfect. Feels much nicer in your than the new ones. And it has a headphone jack lol
Anybody knows the first song used?
Do one on the best smartphone ever — Lumia 1020.
This is like Apple commercial but then again that’s basically what the whole Verge site is together with their “reviews” of Apple products.
hey were are the new one?
He never told why the iPhone sucked as a phone. Was waiting for that!
Beautiful!
Smacks it on the table at the end.
Have the same one somewhere in the drawer. Used it for about 3–4 years back then.
turn down that music volume please…
Iphone isn’t what it was
I found a 2007 iPhone at Salvation Army thrift still working no screen damage or problems
Very good Mr. Mossberg I believe the iPhone will make it!!
