SNES Classic preorders were a shitshow -
We thought we’d be preordering an SNES Classic. That didn’t happen.

I hate looking at comments on these types of videos. I wish that everyone just get along, instead of always, “This console is absolute f—king s—t, but insert console here is godly! Sure, we need criticism, but we need constructive criticism, not just yelling at a company, calling them stuff like s‑itendo, falling Sony’s fans Sony ponies, etc.
You don’t need a Console to play any of those games because Roms and Emulators are free just use a VPN and download and play why make it harder on yourself Nintendo doesn’t like this because it’s illegal if you don’t have a physical copy. But if they can’t distribute it well enough what other option do you have?
Nintendo consistently fails over and over and over. I’ve lost all respect for anything their marketing department even tries to do. I feel no guilt or remorse for pirating the shit out of any game I want on their older systems. They deserve the loss at this point for being complete failures for the last decade. Fire everyone, clean house, and listen to the fans for once in your lives.
Lol. Nintendo is such a horrible company. Microsoft deservedly got shit back in ’06-’07 on for releasing a console with a 50+ percent fail rate that also destroys discs, but at least they made enough for people to buy.
I saw a guy on reddit get 12 last night. https://www.reddit.com/r/snes/comments/736n5k/theres_plenty_out_there_guys_ebay_here_i_come/
I ordered a super nes. I didn’t know about it went on bigw web site see it and bought it. Must of been a sign
This is one time being in Australia has been an advantage as I was able to pre-order both products and get them virtually first day.
Your issue was solely with the retailers. Nintendo has no control over pre orders. The stock has been adequate since release now and they plan on making them well into next year. In retrospect this video and a lot of the comments epitomize the whiny entitled archetypical internet gamer
I accidentally bought one I went there to buy a HOTAS and apparently I was the first one of 10 they had
I got mine. 😆
Baha, best 80$ investment I made in a while. Already have fetched upwards of 15 hours of gaming on it. Marketing sucked, great product however 🙂
Well the NES Classic was like this too, so what would you expect.
Don’t support companies that don’t provide sufficient inventory and pull this shit. If everyone did this companies would reevaluate their marketing strategy
Walmart cancelled my order and I received zero emails from all the stores I asked to email me. I gave up at one point but two weeks ago i was told they have like 16 at gamestop, my buddy works there so I left work and when I got there half where gone already.
Walked into a GameStop store that got 11 consoles in at noon time and I purchased the last one at 20 past 12. So in twenty minutes they sold out all 11 & the cashier mentioned that this was a larger order for the consoles, normally they receive less.
Nintendo told us that the nes classic is back summer 2018
Clusterfuck 101.
i remember when SNES and NES classics were both released, only to be sold out EVERYWHERE in less than a day. not paying 140.00 + on ebay for one. got the raspberry pi 3. problem solved, and i’m happy.
people could be patient and grab one when they see one. gamestop gets 3–12 of the snes classics per week through ups. if you’re cool with your local gamestop employees its not hard to grab a couple of these and its almost xmas.
They wouldn’t make enogh of either of the classic’s (nes/snes) to not be fail’s. Seen both systems once! Love O.S. Nintendo, but this was messed up. Ended up getting 154 game’s in 1 😉
This man is so salty
I was lucky enough to get both the NES and SNES classic editions at midnight releases at the local Walmart. Our Walmart got 6 NES classic editions. I was 5th in line. They got 20 SNES classic editions, I was 4th in line.
