Sony updates its superb wireless noise-cancelling headphones

Still blue­tooth 4.1! Sony should’ve upgrad­ed to 5.0! All of these high end phones now have it.

I real­ly wish man­u­fac­tur­ers would stop using micro usb and move on to usb c. It can’t be that hard for them to move on

I ordered mine last mon­day and picked them up today. So far i real­ly like them. Over stan­dard blue­tooth they sound very mediocre but if you either use the aptX or LDAC codecs over blue­tooth they real­ly come alive just like when you hook it up wired with the includ­ed 3,5mm cable. They are very com­fy and the noise can­cel­la­tion works great!

i heard so bad in ama­zon review for the mdr 1000x for the build qual­i­ty. Not sur­prise they ” updat­ed ” their head­phones just after 1 year, i think more it’s a fix

The brand new Sony WH-1000xm2. I bought it. Beau­ti­ful, Awe­some and it DOES NOT WORK WITH THE APP! Its like buy­ing an expen­sive car and it can go and stop but you can’t adjust your seat or the mir­rors no A/C and cant turn on the lights.… This is the mdr-1000x all over again. ppl com­plain­ing for the LAST 6 MONTHS to sony to fix this app and still noth­ing. its the same app. There are 850 com­ments on the google play store . out of 850 ppl 450 cant make this app work. You pair it via the app and the pair­ing com­pletes but this app does not real­ize this fact and w8ts for the pair­ing to start. My heart breaks but im bring­ing it back tomor­row im not buy­ing a sony phone just for this.

How does they wight? Look too big?

Can I use these to play games as well or should I get sep­a­rate headphones?

They upgrad­ed a few func­tions that was not nec­es­sary as there was­n’t any prob­lem with them but did­n’t upgrade the frail head­band which broke. They for­mal­ly acknowl­edged the design and mate­r­i­al flaw for MDR on some sites — edit:on oth­ers they denied — and then released the very same stuff, the hard­ware. What kind of upgrade is this, answer Sony!!!!!!

Bought these yes­ter­day. So far so good. Wish it were Blue­tooth 4.2 . My Blue­tooth ear buds con­nect to my phone & PC simul­ta­ne­ous­ly these don’t. Grindin — by Clipse is what I use to bench­mark head­phones. The bass is enough I lis­ten to a lot of hip hop. These are my first Noise Can­cel­ing head phones & wow! Wore them in the car to see how much noise it would cut out & I want to say it was around 80 ‑85 % with no music play­ing. I am new to this though. Was. Con­erned with the design flaws I kept read­ing about but I just real­ly want­ed these. I’ll baby them like all my oth­er gadgets.

I can order an MDR1000X for only 249$ on sale or should I pay 329$ for these ones?

Does any­one know if these head­phones are capa­ble of being con­nect­ed to mul­ti­ple devices at the same time? For exam­ple, I had last years Bose QC35’s and I would be lis­ten­ing to music on my iPod and if I received a phone call on my iPhone it switched over.

Does Sony have any cheap,low bud­get and bud­get friend­ly wire­less head­phones for low income peo­ple that loves headphones?

DON’T BUY IT, I have the Sony 1000x and it frac­tured next to the hinges on both sides. Luck­i­ly, I’ve noticed it ear­ly on and sent it to repair. The repair by Sony was flaw­less, how­ev­er I don’t trust the build qual­i­ty any­more. Search for this issue before buying.

On my pair The sound cuts off for a sec­ond and its hap­pen­ing quite often. How can i fox this?????
