After dock­ing their Soyuz MS-06 space­craft to the Poisk mod­ule on the Russ­ian seg­ment of the Inter­na­tion­al Space Sta­tion, Expe­di­tion 53–54 Soyuz Com­man­der Alexan­der Mis­urkin of Roscos­mos and flight engi­neers Mark Vande Hei and Joe Aca­ba of NASA were greet­ed by sta­tion Com­man­der Randy Bres­nik of NASA and flight engi­neers Sergey Ryazan­skiy of Roscos­mos and Pao­lo Nespoli of the Euro­pean Space Agency, as the hatch­es between the space­craft were opened.
