Great!
I could already do this with my iPad and iPhone.
This glorified web browser/Android table is not worth $1,000.
Depending on how much it’ll cost, I might just get it and install windows on it.
But does it run Photoshop?
OMG I bought an ultabook with smaller bezels 4 years ago.
16 GB of RAM for a browser? I’d say it’s overkill but I guess it is Chrome.

You can get a Samsung chromebook pro for half the price
I would install windows 10 on it.
Get a 1050ti laptop less than $1000 instead of this
wow $$$ 999 i5 so much memory, when will it sell with Windows??
Get a MacBook
Isn’t this still a Chromebook?
Can I run 🏃 my Adobe Pshop, Lightroom, premiere, etc & other softwares I use in Windows??? Am ok with my MS pro4 & MacBook
Windows 10 <3
still don’t understand chromebooks
I like how people say apple is over priced but google is charging 1000 dollars for something that can literally only run google chrome.
Do you really need an i7 for a glorified web browser? If it could run some linux applications maybe, but all it can run is google chrome + a few android apps. You need a lot of ram because chrome has memory leaks out the wazoo, but wtf do you need an i7 in a chromebook for?
it’s not a laptop its a chromebook, its an internet dependent machine for internet work
0:11 “The best of hardware and software”.
Ew…
EL SISTEMA QUE LLEVA ES BASURA GIOGLE, PERO MIS RESPETOS CON EL HARDWARE CON LINUX ESE EQUIPO SERÍA UNA CHULADA
$1000 i get asus better than pixelbook
I love google, but this can’t run photoshop, fruity loops, or even garage band? Theyre spot on with productivity but miss the mark on the essential point of a operating system, very disappointed that I can’t run those softwares with Google’s ecosystem but when they do, we’ll be fully on board. until then, this Pixelbook feels whimsical.
Great laptop, you can do a lot more with Chromebooks now than most people are aware of. My one major gripe with the presentation was the reported 1 kg weight of the device. That is a bit deceptive because it is actually 1.1 kg which means it is just as heavy as the reference hardware for this device the Samsung Chromebook Plus, the new 12 inch MacBook is noticeably lighter. 1.1 vs 1 kilos are not a big difference on paper but the difference is noticable in daily use.
Lovely bit of kit. Nice daily driver, great as a tablet and for development work. I like the instant connection thing but I reckon that’ll become an Android thing soon
