This is appalling. I’m from PETI, Peo­ple for the Eth­i­cal Treat­ment of Insects. Insects are con­scious beings and deserve respect. We need to find a new future food source.

Reg­u­la­tion (EU) 2015/2238 of the Euro­pean Par­lia­ment This states that a new food must be shown to be safe and nutri­tious. A recent pub­li­ca­tion in Nature showed that 80% of Crick­et farms had par­a­sites infest­ing the crick­ets with about 30% of those known to cause dis­ease in man and slight­ly high­er in ani­mals. The farms are breed­ing ground for parasites.

John the Bap­tist who was con­sid­ered by Jesus him­self to be the great­est man that ever lived under the Lord Jesus him­self was on a diet that con­sist­ed strict­ly of locusts and hon­ey. I know crick­ets aren’t locusts but God stat­ed that every insect with the hop­py legs such as crick­ets, grasshop­pers, and locusts are very much good for you. Some­thing to keep and mind.

Crick­ets can­not replace beef. Try trad­ing a bazil­lion crick­ets for a cow. You will find zero inter­est. And can you milk as cricket?

Broth­ers, the mat­ter of eat­ing has been one which man has always been think­ing. Since the begin­ning man has been so cor­rupt­ed he is will­ing to eat any­thing he finds and this cor­rup­tion man calls ‘free­dom’. Yet when The LORD God gave His rules con­cern­ing the mat­ter of eat­ing they are not a restric­tion, His laws are not about what not to eat but what to eat, thus He makes a path. Beloved, these days many among man don’t fol­low such a rule, they think it is too hard of a thing for them or that they now have a right to eat that which they have con­sumed at the first. There is noth­ing that is hard in eat­ing what El Ely­on said is fit for food because He under­stands man is lim­it­ed. He did not give us rocks and met­al to ingest, nor grass and bark but the liv­ing things that are apart from the oth­er liv­ing beasts. It is easy to par­take in a loose life and thus join to gen­tiles but not any hard­er to be set apart and par­take of what The LORD God gives man accord­ing to His will. Of course a life of eat­ing is not with­out tak­ing up the fast and refus­ing to eat any­thing for a time. Such did Our LORD and Sav­ior, Yeshua HaMashiach do for the forty days that He went with­out food or drink. Not even the dev­il could tempt Him into tak­ing even a crumb of bread because there is noth­ing of which He could be tempt­ed. With the Spir­it of lib­er­ty let us be above such mat­ters of eat­ing for man does not live by bread only, but by every­thing that pro­ceeds from the mouth of The LORD. Broth­er, be bap­tized and repent of sin­ful­ness and have stead­fast faith in Our LORD and Sav­ior, Yeshua HaMashiach who is the Way, the Truth and the Life. No man comes to the Father except through Him. Amen and Amen.

I love fried crikets. They are so deli­cious. I could eat them all day. My fiance thinks im nuts eat­ing crikets but i dont care. I love it 😂❤
