No.
aw helllll nah
That’s totally safe…
I rather leave the door wide open.
Who was the jackass that came up with this ?
Loool who actually signs up for this?
Nope, and I own a smart lock they’re too slow to connect. Will make deliveries to inefficient raising cost
Great for getting robbed
Anything that makes it easier to buy stuff from Amazon should be free
Haha this is to funny. I use amazon for everything. So yeah why wouldn’t I use them for home robbery as well. They really are the everything Store. Thanks amazon..
Amazon key.. the key to getting robbed
I don’t like this. No no no.
Hell to the no.…
F THAT!
Hello I don’t want nobody in my house
I’m going to have to assume there will be no Google Home integration xD
Dogs and pets… I guess you assume any risk with your pets or injury to the delivery person. People are stupid enough to have this service and not consider their dog would lash out at a stranger. It sounds pretty awesome other than that for people with loose pets around the house.
Nah. Why allow the porch pirates access literally to your entire house???
OK. What are all the risks involved? I can see it now. Amazon employees calling their package-thieving buddies to let them know all about the valuables they noticed in my home. I can see me being sued by the Amazon employee because Fido took a chunk out of his arm when he entered. I can see the repair guy refusing to enter my home because they have no liability waiver agreement with Amazon. There are so many risks involved, it’s crazy that anyone would want to take a chance on this service.
This would only work if Amazon did a criminal check on the delivery drivers that can use Amazon key. If there is a guarantee that any driver that has this power has had background checks done, and the system is set up in a way where only the driver can use the app, (Maybe a fingerprint scanner deadman’s switch, coupled with Bluetooth device range detection with a panic button to disabel acsess to the app.) Then fine, I would try it.
But for that price, you could build a very sturdy delivery box and give the combination to it in the delivery comments without risking your home access security.
They go inside your home
I’m a truck driver for Amazon(subcontractor) and I will tell you right now there’s no way in hell I’m letting those people in my house
In rual places and if youre single living alone i get it. You dont want your shit being stolen while youre working espcially package thieves that come out on christmas. This isnt a problem in cities so i hope no dumbass living with 3 or more people buy this espcially if they live in the city cuz there’s no need. But yea single and a crap town then yes go ahead.
After spending the money on the smart lock and cloud cam, it better be free. Btw, the narrator’s voice is droning. Get someone else.
Putting people at danger. Crazy!
Because hackers didn’t have enough things to hack
I could see myself building a small custom box or mini storage shed and using this feature. It is not worth it in most cases, but in my cause I think it could be worth it considering my area. If I install it on a small box or utility shed, it removes those extra risks and it would keep my packages from being soaked in the rain.
