Exoskeletons have been around for decades, both in real life and in science fiction. But the latest wave of exoskeletons are advanced enough that they’re being tested in automobile factories, with the hopes of preventing injury, and can even allow paralyzed people to walk. In the Emmy Award winning season 2 finale of Next Level, Lauren Goode reports from a Ford factory in Michigan where they are beta-testing an exoskeleton vest on one select employees to reduce workplace injuries. there was carton around 80s like this, where human put all these things to their body„ i forgot the title..
This is a very cool and most useful technology. I have done manual labor of constant lifting and walking. This is the future of what companies need to embrace to reduce worker fatigue, injuries, and maximize your employees abilities.
damit ford, why you guys always gotta be revolutionizing something every generation. Let somebody else get some limelight
“companies like Panasonic, Honda & Cyberdyne” keep a close eye on that last one especially if they come out with a product called Skynet.
So we finally realized human labor is cheaper than robot’s
A bit more work and some of these suits will be excellent for the military. The possibilities are endless when it comes to killing people more efficiently.

The companies will use this to their advantage and push the worker even harder than they physically could do before the exo.
I have had 3 back surgeries. I want one of these!
WE WANT FULL BODY, FORD INDUSTRIES! NOT JUST THE UPPERS! AND UNIT COSTS!!!
Marty the Smarty
Remember Terminator ????
If the vest has no electronics, how does it work?
ekso is going to be big very soon
I dont think they will stop workers from injuring them selves, that would require making them think better rather than stronger. what you need is an AI system that can predict if they are going to hurt them selves and gives them an electric shock before they do. or cut out the human component and use 100% robot.
Now this is what the future is supposed to be. Not back to the future but realistic and realizable and supposed to make our life easier but not lazy..
I’d rather have the car twisted on its side and lowered to meet the worker. Much better than cranking your neck up all day long.
Wait.. did you say cyberdyne?
Amazing device.
very comprehensive
Omg, this amazing. I’m so excited to learn more about exoskeletons.
If I could get imobe, I would walk. M.S. Affected, my right leg. And my handwriting, too.
It’s a tough thing, becausr you can’t fight it, and it really is a bad existence. To Me. I was alway’s out in the Elements.
No, why, when you’re not wanted.
Acceptence of how people see the chair, and sometimes they, don’t know what to do. And they look at you, as a
hinderence to them, someway.
Listening to bull that the politician,

Don’s a little man that doesn’t work for you. Don’s for Don. That’s all.
