Easy? That’s a lot of products/steps.
I have this exact same stove and no matter what I do it WILL NOT come clean. I have a love hate relationship with my gas stove now. Because the electric was a lot easier to clean. In the future I am absolutely going to buy based on the maintenance required.
Or buy an electric hob..
I removed the burner covers, put a piece of paper towel in burner well and wrapped the gas jets in tape so that nothing got into the burner well or in the gas jets.
Suggest sprinkling the stove top with baking soda — a very light dusting. Over time the spills will interact with the baking soda and the mixture can be wiped off.
Induction cooktop. Cleanup: soap and water. Dry. Done
many ppl actual clean their stove often so they dont have to deal with build. so many negative nasty people on here.
Can anyone refer me to a video on how to get one burner to light on it’s own? It just randomly stopped and it has to be lit every time by using a lighter. It’s the same model as this video.
Her accent?? What accent?
Thank God you told me to wait until it cools I almost just grabbed it! Also, how do breathe?

How is it possible to get “food stuck around the burners ignition”? Isn’t there a cap on top of that? And pan on top of that? lol. Also, whats the point of the bucket? Just quirt some soap on wet sponge. Who takes the stove apart to put it in the sink? Just do one section at time and put the grates on top of the one next to it. This is the most ridiculous thing I’ve seen on YouTube in the last day.
Nice video
WTH would you let it get that bad.
This was so useless.
Thank you lady. My motivation for the day.
Who has time to clean like that after cooking omg..
May i know what kind of dish scrubber you used? I used dish scrubber but my stove top got scratches 🙁
thanks for the great tips…lol you can also spray a bit of “pam” after cleaning. (non stick spray)
Great stuff!! Thank you!
How to wipe your stove top….
I can put the grates in the dishwasher?! Game changer
Nice. Thank you so much for the pointers
I made homemade enchiladas, fish tacos and a a stew that accidentally spilled over. Burnt grease after one use. “Soapy water” DID NOT even make a dent. I need a tutorial for burnt on grease.
When do you use the glass cleaner?
Is it really that easy to clean. We have always wanted a gas range but after we switched a a glass cooktop electric I was afraid it would be very difficult to clean a gas stove.
Just one of many other reasons to have an electric induction stove. Except electic being faster, cheaper, less harmful to your health and cleaner for the enviroment… it’s also just a flat glass surface that can easily be wiped off.
omg bacon is so gross
Awesome! I needed just this!!!!!
Seems the baked on grease is too tough for what they use to clean it. I’ve had good luck with old fashioned lye soap in the oven cleaner spray can, let it soak.
2 friends have glass electric stove tops BUT they have broke from something heavy dropped by accident, 1 friend twice at $300 plus for just the glass parts cost to replace.
That you call easy?
What happens if I get the burners wet?
Grates are cast iron and soap should never be used on cast iron surfaces.
Why didn’t you take off the knobs?
So bogus 😂
Lordy, you’re making bacon wow😮 I made bacon ONCE and you’d have thought I was in a battle w/ a grease monster…smh this stove is definitely a high maintenance dive!!
It’s the streaking and smearing when you’re trying to clean it that irritates me but other than that, I love a LOT of things this smart oven can do…
Reminds me of my daily chores. 😂 Thanks CNet
This video is garbage
Ahhhh! You didn’t say I couldn’t reuse the tooth brush!!! Ahhhhhhhhh!!!
As soon as I heard the voice I knew the video would be a waste of time
Have the same stove do you know how to remove scratches
this was a clean stove to start with. like brand spanking new and they just poured crumbs over it. I need to know how to clean a real, heavy used grimy oven if its to be helpful. everyone knows how to wipe away surface dirt with a paper towel.
No help when you use a new stove wtf is this
Check out the article by Scientific American entitled The Health Risks of Gas Stoves Explained. Here’s a hint: the EPA won’t allow an indoor gas stove to be operated outdoors because of the dangerous emissions. Now, does that sound like something you want to expose your family to?
