Design ..is not good
The only drawback to this phone is the curved screen corners. Deal breaker for me :/
Review come on
looks like an old cassette
Why mono speaker, though? The Nokia 6 2017 had Stereo.… does HMD really hate their customers so much? 🤔
Did this Nokia had notification LED? if it is, then it is multicolor?
3:03 looks like the Windows Phone manual camera setting!
It would be great if nokia 7 plus came with 300–350€ because the snapdragon 660 and the 4GB ram it is an mid range … a this price i can buy a samsung galaxy s8 or an oneplus 5 or a xiaomi mi6 or mi mix2 with snapdragon 835 🙁
I don’t like the design of this phone. The Nokia 8 Sirocco is good except the camera design is horrible on all the Nokia phones. Sony Xperia camera design on the back of their phones are the best design. If Nokia had the same camera design as Sony then I would say that the Nokia 8 Sirocco then would be perfect.
Amazing
Finally something what will change my old Lumia 735
still waiting 8 Pro
How does it stand out
I tried it few days ago and it was really fancy and luxurious phone, the camera is so much responsive and colors are really vibrant, well done Nokia
Nokia 8 or Nokia 7 plus ?
nokia 7 plus has fm radio or not??
Bummer. No notification LED.
No EIS or OIS for 4k video.
Feel good to here so now i can hear your voice.👏
Looks nice and little refreshing
Make a camera comparison between the almost same price smartphone such as samsung A8 etc.
Closer to samsung note8 with reasonable price!
I NEED THIS PHONE
more beautiful than iphone
Anybody checked Vodafone VoLte on it?
this phone is a perfect match for HP Spectre laptop. #lifegoals 😊
Can someone explain what is the difference between vanilla oreo android and a normal android oreo?
Will it work on at&t in the U.S.?
ive always wished a ceramic coating phone… and nokia did it.. i will definitely buy this.
Getting mine today!
Watching on my nokia 7 plus its a very owsm phone at this time
How much in Philippines?
Can anyone confirm how this would work in the US on T‑mobile? Looking at the bands, the coverage doesn’t seem compatible. But anecdotal amazon reviews and such say it works just fine.
Would love to buy this as my next phone if I KNEW it could get 4G on TMobile US.
@ 2:14 The narrator said 16 mp selfie cam , the pic shows 5 mp .
THOSE FOR WHO HAS THIS PHONE DOES YOUR PHONE CHARGER FEELS KINDA LOOSE? WHERE U PLUG IT IN THE PHONE CAN MOVE FRONT BACK EASILY?
This is what I was afraid of, the day budget phones start using an 18.9 aspect ratio. The phone market is basically dead at this point.
LG Stylo 3, LG K20 is still an option, but you do have to deal with a lower resolution screen, but at least you get all of your screen. 2014 was the last good year in smart phones. Heres the long story.
I know this is a long comment, but you have to relize, this has been going on since 2014/ allot can happen in four years.
Theres a bunch of issues, that Im gonna get to, but this is the phone I want.
I want a phone that has a 6.3 inch or 5.7 inch, OLED, 7680×4320P 650PPI Pixels Per Inch, 16:9 Aspect Ratio, Removable Graphine Battery, with a runtime of 1 week, without charging or 5days, Micro SD Card, Expandable Up to 1TB, 8GB or 16GB of RAM, Chipset Qualacomm Snapdragon 845,
CPU Octa-Core KRYO 385
GPU Adreno 630,
Camera Dual 7K cameras, so one front facing, and one rear facing camera, image stabalazation.
Fingerprint reader
NFC/Wireless Charging
Fast Charging, 15 mins from 0% to 90%.
The problem for me, and I hope other people/other consumers as well/ I hope I’m not the only one noticing how bad phones are now days, in some ways, software in allot of ways, has gotten allot better, when it comes to optimization/specs needed to run android smoothly, and in some other ways, but hardware/design ideas/solutions, is a whole other situation/disaster/problem. The other problem is inovation/there hasn’t been a real upgrade in a long time, yes chipsets/CPUs/GPUs/jumps in Ram have gotten better, but resolutions in screens haven’t, also allot of downgrades have happened as well, due to other issues, such as trying to make phone bezels/phone footprints smaller. The Note 4 was the last real good/upgraded phone, samsung has released, and that phone came out in 2014, and thats just one example.
The phone industry/builders/manufactures have made so many mistakes since 2014, I honestly don’t know where to start.
I was hoping for an amazing phone by now, but to be honest, my TVs display is better than my phone. I never thought I would be able to say that. The way things used to be/should still be, is your phone should have a better resolution/screen, than your tv.
My tv is 4k now, but my phone is not, my phone should be 6k, at the least, by this point, but if it followed tradition/ the way it should be, it would be 8k.
When I had a 720p/1280x720p, 16:9, this is a normal resolution, and aspect ratio as well, we will get to that crazyness as well,
point being is, when I had a 720p tv, I had a 1080p/1920×1080p, 16:9 aspect ratio phone.
When I had a 1080p tv, I had a 2560x1440p 16:9 phone.
The point here is your phones display should always be a step ahead/a higher resolution than your TV.
Now were almost, at a point of no return, for phones, reason being is, because developers are starting to compensate/fix phone manufactures problems, through software, this is a bad sign, because when things like this happen, this makes these new crazy aspect ratios and resolutions a standard, and this also conflicts with other devices, that are designed and built properly, not just phones, but also desktops, laptops, tv screens/video viewing screens. Hopefully, and I think they already have to an extent, but developers/coders/programmers, will help to prevent this from being an issue, allowing you to change resolutions and aspect rations, through software/apps/OSs/Operating Systems and so on, allot of this has been a thing, in windows, for a while, because its needed, for other things as well, but this should still not even be an issue at all.
Heres the issue, and this is where it stemed/started from, manufactures wanted to make slim phones, theres nothing wrong with that, if the task/vision/idea is done properly/right.
Phone manufactures found out the hard way, that batteries are a certain size, and theres room/space inside phones/cases/housings for a reason, and this isn’t just with batteries, computers/hardware need to breath/be ventalated/be below a certain temprature/keep its thermals in check.
The result of this stupidity was batteries started blowing up, and catching fire.
This was just there frist mistake, it gets worse, then phone manufactures decide to alter the demention of phone screens, and I think allot of other features got stripped out, because of this as well. SD card slots, started being removed/not offered, such as IR Blasters/ infer red/ the technilogy that allowed you to use your phone as a remote for all kinds of devices, such as tvs,Air conditioners, fans, and so on, also batteries were no longer removable, in allot of phones, also manufactures started stripping out some of the mah in there batteries, to make the battery thinner, MAH, is Mili Amp PerHour, the more the MAH the longer the battery life, Micro SD Card slots started to be removed/not offered.
Also prices continued/continue to go up, even though phones offer/ offered less.
This was just the tip of the iceburge/the beginning of the problem, a phone should have 4,000 MAH, at this point, or more like 6,000MAH, that would be amazing; Also removable batteries allow for battery replacement, in the event of failure/a dead battery, or if you want to buy an aftermarket battery with more MAH/Mili Amp PerHour, to get better battery life, or to bring spare batteries, to switch out/to increase your battery life, by having the ability to have multible batteries with you, and just swap them out; Also expandable storage/micro sd cards are a must have, prime example, I have 578 books on my phone, music, movies, you can’t fit that on onboard storage, my books alone are 4GB, plus its good for an OS/Operating System to have its own drive/Hardrive/SSD/Flash Memory, for the most part/as much as possible.
So basically every phone since the note 4 has been a downgreade, because of this.
Now this is where even more problems start, phone manufactures decide to make phones taller, but less wide and alter aspect ratios. In some applications/uses this is good, like a great example surfing the web/reading is better, because the phone is taller you see more on screen, but the huge down fall is video, and the aspect ratio. When you watch videos your not able to utilize your screen anymore, because, who would have thought, videos aren’t shot in that resolution/aspect ratio, so now you aren’t able to utilize/use all of your screen, you paid for, so now, not only did they downgrade phones, but they cut allot of your screen relastate out/ now you have black bars on the side of your phone, where the rest of the video used to show/still does on a device/screen that has a 16:9 aspect ratio, and a normal resolution, such as 1280x720p,1920x1080p, 2560x1440p, 3840x2160, and so on.
So Basically all of these phone manufactures were doing/did all of these crazy things, instead of addressing the obvious problem.
The Problem was there wasn’t enough space with in phones, because companies wanted to make a phone, with the least amount of bezel/border/plastic/meatal, around the screen/ manufacures wanted you to only see screen, without a border/if you saw a border they wanted it to be as tiny as possible/as little as possible.
Theres nothing wrong with this, as long as its done properly/right.
The obvious answer is changing the battery technology used in smart phones, a battery is power, the consumer, nor the phone is gonna care about how it gets power, as long as it gets power, also changing the battery isn’t gonna alter how the device works/all the device wants is power, Granted if we started using ghraphine/graphite batteries, we could use allot less material, to generate the same amount of power, which is your/the actual problem, meaning now you could have a really thin battery, that generates more power or the same amount, but has a much smaller footprint/no more catching fire; Technically you could do either one or both, create a battery that is thinner, than a lithion battery, and is also more powerful/can power devices for longer. The answer is the battery, the answer is not stripping off parts of the phone/downgrading the phone/changing screens/aspect ratios, and dementions of the phone. Phone Manufactures need to wake up. Phone Manufactures have been holding technology/the world back for years now/since 2014, its not something to be proud of
Good quality with affordable price 👏👍 great camera, battery last long!! Love my nokia 7+ made the right choice 😉
