Are Android tablets dead? Huawei def­i­nite­ly does­n’t think so. But if it takes a key­board dock to make a tablet rel­e­vant hese days, why not just buy a Chromebook?

So fake news and irre­spon­si­ble Amer­i­can “Jour­nal­ists” havd hit the tech sec­tor. So sad. Only thing miss­ing was a endorse­ment for Robert Fran­cis O’Rourke, the Pres­i­den­tial Can­di­date who has been charged with a DUI, arrest­ed and charged with bur­glary, and expressed the desire go run over small chil­dren. Oh wait, that’s “Beto” O’Rourke, my bad. Oh and Real News, since 2012 Android tablets mar­ket share exceed­ed 50% and as of 2018, sat at ~62.1%, with iOS at a very dis­tant ~23.3%. And com­pa­nies absolute­ly are mak­ing Android Tablets. And act­ing like Huawei is some lit­tle unknown man­u­fac­tur­er ~54.2 mil­lion devices shipped in 2Q 2018. I know pal­try com­pared to Apples’ ~41.3 mil­lion. Oh and upon its launch ear­ly mid 2018, Huawei‘s P20 Pro was the best smart­phone cam­era ever made. Then this year the Huawei Mate 20 Pro demol­ished the P20 Pro again. And now its been said the Huawei P30 Pro will kill the Mate 20 Pro in just a few short days. And that lit­tle man­u­fac­tur­er OPPO and Xiao­mi also are just unheard of. You need to leave your Amer­i­can bub­ble. And only because the oth­er 7.2 bil­lion humans on earth also exist and a good few are tech con­sumers also. Pop the bub­ble Bub­ble Boy, don’t fear the “mmu­ni­ties”!

No head­phone jack is a total deal break­er for me

I own the Medi­a­pad M5 10.8 Pro. Tru­ly awesome!

My only com­plaints are that both the 16:9 megapix­el res­o­lu­tions in the cam­era are incor­rect & that youtube & video play­er appli­ca­tions change the audio equal­iz­er so it changes the sound qual­i­ty for no rea­son. So I have to open youtube through chrome to not make that happen.

Your site’s review of the Hauwei Medi­a­pad M5 Pro is miss­ing a mas­sive issue that should great­ly down­grade its score- Huawei no longer offers repairs or ser­vice on tablets after warranty. 

I have had this tablet for about 18 months. 

It works great, I love how it func­tions, but after 18 months the charg­ing port has got­ten loose. This alone does­n’t both­er me- I’d hap­pi­ly replace the port, BUT I CAN’T.

I went to a local repair shop and called 3 more, they all told me they can’t get parts. I called Huawei sup­port first i was told I’d have to pay for a repair, which I was fine with- then I was told that the repair cen­ters only do work on tablets under war­ran­ty and I should talk to local repair peo­ple- the same ones who can’t get parts.

So, I asked if i could buy the parts from Huawei. Nope.

I asked if I could get the part name/ num­ber so I could try to find one online. Nope.

Asked for my mon­ey back (which I real­ly did­n’t expect). Nope.

Stuff hap­pens with tech, a screen can get cracked, a port can come loose, what have you, it is part of life, so don’t buy this tablet. You will nev­er be able to fix any­thing that goes wrong and my some­thing went wrong after only 18 months.

Tablet appears to be very good⤠>JustU.Faith/HuaweiPad?美   excel­lent per­for­mance. Huawei could improve on the pow­er & vol­ume but­tons though — should pop out more from the frame. (but­tons are quite tiny). Was strug­gling to find a tablet of good spec­i­fi­ca­tions and this is a good choice.
