I thought stylus was not for Apple? Huh Apple fans, what’s going on here? What’s up man? Steve is churning in his grave.
See how CNET has changed there content recently is a real disappointment.
Right down the street from my high school. Go, GT!
Stop talking like any of this was amazing. Come on CNET. Acting like Apple is doing something innovative.
The price is not right at all, since the pencil itself cost $100 dollars more and the keyboard cost $100 dollars more and I don’t think schools will be spending $500 dollars buying hundreds of these when they can buy 3 Chromebooks for that price.
Where to get the AR apps, and do they work on an iPad 2017?
So Apple shows a keyboard that connects via the lightning connector instead of an easy Bluetooth connecting keyboard like the air pods. Mixed messages. Does people find Bluetooth too fiddly compared to connectors. At least it has a headphone jack I’m guessing
I still love my iPad Air 2
Leave it to CNET to rave about the same repackaged product, iterations of what Google has been doing for years and CNET staff not fully understanding what Google has already done.
There was nothing new at this event, absolutely nothing. Well, maybe new for Apple users but nothing new to what Google has been doing for Education all these years. Apple has a lot to catch up on that’s for sure.
Apple is at it again. Selling old products like new. Only zombies not students will fall for this crap
Should’ve been $329 but in my country it starts at $420
use more be more stupid.
I have every Apple product except the Homepod and this is a big missed opportunity
Air 2 still going strong
Was expecting a new Rose Gold iPad Mini but ended up with heavy focus on students and teachers, who cares about those stupid kids and AR ?
I haven’t seen a single photo from apple event with the ipad simply flat on the table — everyone is holding it. This for me misses the way students use tech for their work. The majority of their work will be typed and by the time you add in a keyboard and stand you may as well buy a laptop.
damm this dude want 50$ ipad
I don’t see the value of the AR art really. Why not just zoom and pan the image of the artwork as you can do now and have been able to do for years? Novelty?
You don’t need a keyboard with iPad it’s almost useless without mouse support in iOS.
This plus 100 dollar brazzers sub is not affordable
I’m guessing many of the people saying Apple’s presentation of their new iPad is underwhelming have never used an Apple Pencil before or at least were shown what cool things it could be used for. This presentation was not for everyone, it specificily was targeted at the education sector. I’m teaching myself and using the Apple Pencil every day in my workflow. Imagining what could be done if whole classes had sets of iPads with Apple Pencils makes me very happy and looking forward to the future of schools.
They “educate” the kids to be Apple sheep customers for their entire life…
You summed it up perfectly. “The new iPad. Well, it’s an iPad.”
Wow, innovative & revolutionary 🤣
*APPLE’S
Same old shit.….….. NEXT
I have that
Looks the same as iPad 2.
Tell her to stop talking over you.
Do this iPad supports stylus?
