Google goes for the wow at I/O, but what about privacy? — https://www.cnet.com/news/google-goes-for-the-wow-at-io-2018-but-what-about-privacy-ai-virtual-assistant/
How much CPU power does Google have? This AI stuff must really be hardware intensive. And all of this is driven by advertising revenue? I would like to introduce a law that says that any AI communication must be clearly identified at the beginning of the communication. I’m already getting robocalls now that try to trick me into believing it is a real person. It’s only going to get worse.
i wanna punch on girl face..is it possible????
The only thumb down I give in this video is the lady in green.
HEY people: ALL THESE FEATURES are useful: YOU KNOW WHY? Because that’s what a “smart life” is all about. !
it will make us dumb!
I can finally retire my CueCat.
I’m with her. I don’t want to be thinking less because my phone ‘knows’ what I’m about to do.
People leaving decisions to a phone are just going to turn into zombies, like the majority of the comment sections. You guys all say the same thing with no arguments or distinction.
She must be fun at parties
I think Google Duplex is both amazing and scary.
Cool
Most of her point are dumbest…

The map augmented reality thing would be good for driving with a head up display and a car instead of the fox. That way you could just follow the car.
Every Cnet lady hates duplex…😕
✌🏻
She know you can turn auto correction off, right? She’s making me cringe so hard.
Lmfao, you even have to press tab for it to auto complete, it’s not like when you press tab it’s permanently there or that it automatically happens…
We do not need AI, but common sense. Maps thinks I am on a bicycle, even if I drive 60 km/h. Therefore Google thinks I need 2.5 hours for 41km. And searching and searching the hidden menu to change that can be quite dangerous in a car.
Even though I think differently than the lady, that’s her right/normal as far as everyone is different, hence choices. I love every feature including Duplex and AR maps. I’m a brain injury survivor, PTSD, anxiety and focus/flooding issues. Just bought a Pixel 3a XL and it’s helpful. I didn’t know about the AR maps which would have saved me a lot of trouble recently but the call screening is helpful. Scammers and robo calls are stressful and I don’t need stress/drama with the amount of concussions I’ve had from sports and accidents etc. I’m surprised I’m still alive. It would be nice to add more medical to Pixel but I have the Google exercise thing, the Samsung health app and Fitbit app until I buy another Fitbit or Android watch. I’m thinking Android watch this time. There’s really good ones out and always were. And just took a photo at night with night sight and wow. Looks like I took it in bright daytime. Friends kept asking what time of day i took it in and I had to explain that it was nearly pitch black. And Google Fi and 3 networks is very helpful.
why is this woman even here, doesnt like anything, does she even wanna be here
