They should’ve just stuck with the code names. KeyOne and Key 2 aren’t as cool as Mercury and Athena.
Lady Athena Saori Kido is a Blackberry. Not Sony as in Saori, for sure. Not Saori Xperia.
the keyboard makes me feel like i have lots of contacts to text. which also is. i don’t like tapping the screen with my fingers because it makes the screen dirty aswell. since i try to touch the screen always as little as possible. but i still want it to be smart. for having social media apps. i don’t watch that much video’s on my phone. but the slightly smaller screen doesn’t bother me. . it doesn’t need to be big in my opinion. if its clearly its good enough. and i like being different. i rock that phone.
wait who the f*#k is looking out for another blackberry, I haven’t seen anyone using any blackberry in the wild
I’m buying it for sure, I usually enjoy typing without having to look at my device. Not possible on my iPhone.
I’ll definitely will get one
Tactile keyboard must have features
1. Accuracy. This isn’t it for everyone, but, for me I get many “fat finger” pushes on the e‑keyboard. Probably still faster, but love that I know exactly what key I’m hitting and never hit the wrong one.
2. E keyboard movement drives me crazy. Open up a Google sheet with an e keyboard and it’s practically impossible to enter in data because the whole thing jumps around every time the e keyboard opens and closes. This same thing happens on many other places like online forms, where the e keyboard opening obscures the data entry field causing the page to adjust in a many times imperfect way. With the ketone, I select the field and tip tap away on my keyboard with none of these issues.
A physical keyboard on a phone gives you the most satisfying feeling when typing, and also for those who type extensively every day, a physical keyboard helps speeding up the typing and also helps not having to stare at the screen all the time
All I wish they’d update
Wireless charging
Water or splash proof
Maybe a brighter screen
If they have moved the fingerprint scanner to the side instead of the space bar thats a mistake
Nah the keyboard is really good. Like the short cut for the home screen is actually amazing. I’m slower on the physical keyboard, but definitely more accurate if I need to start punching in numbers and etc
I have been a BB user since many years. Most of the BB phones I have owned have a keyboard. There were some exceptions, but as soon as a keyboard version came along I switched. For myself like a lot of BB users, nothing beats a good mechanical keyboard for working and sending text messages.
Why would they take away the fingerprint scanner from the space bar to on the side? That doesn’t make sense also dropping the battery size doesn’t make sense either!
Know one Could Be
Snapdragon 660?! That’s old technology from 2015! And $550 for a phone with outdated specs? Disappointing
Blackberry hub is my most favourite feature on blackberry. I hope one day google bring it to android.
1)Never understood why so many Keyone reviews showed the Priv while talking about the Keyone.
2)PKBs are more accurate to some and easier to type while not looking at your fingers.
Why are they not making enough phones? I would love a powerhouse blackberry that knocks iPhone out
I activated a torch the other day for my father who likes to keep it simple…the tech looked at it like it belonged in a museum haha. I in short order told her to join me in bouncing our phones off the floor and seeing which one survives.…she lost the will to give anymore dismissive looks. I skipped they keyone, my priv still works beautifully and thanks to a 3 dollar 3D protector, it doesn’t have a single scratch on the screen. I want the key2, but beyond the priv getting hot as HELL during intense use, it still has life in it.
Ur predictions are on point
