After a few months using the DJI Osmo Mobile 2, this is what I love — and don’t love so much — about this camera phone stabilizer.
DJI Osmo Mobile 2 will be the phone camera stabilizer you buy —

It will work fine with your mic vertically 😀
Omg why is this woman reviewing anything
I really appreciated that. Same issue with the Shure External mic. Hopefully there’s a better workaround
Sandmarc Lens cause it to unbalance 🙁 iPhone XS MAX Barely stays stable.… ;(
Great work. I just got this product, and your video is the first one I watched. You told me so much about what to expect, thanks!
Dji Osmo Mobile’s client is unsatisfactory. It seems to be a stabilizer for the iPhone only. Not only is it flawed in Android functions, but it also has a deadly BUG that will continue to focus on choosing to shoot video.
I just ordered one online and should be getting it soon. As for mic issues, I have an external mic and recorder. It will require some post processing to sync video and audio but that seems to be my solution.
Im here for the boobs
Well if you stopped marching like a damn soldier and started walking like a ninja maybe you’d get better results. Also hold it horizontal for god’s sake
It CAN record 4K using DJ1 app!
Question! How to upload the best quality videos on the YouTube app straight from the phone. I have a Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus and I’m using it with the DJI Osmo Mobile 2. The phone can film in 4k so why YouTube doesn’t let me watch my videos on YouTube in 1440p like I can see this video for example. It doesn’t matter if I use the camera app or the DJI GO app to record. The video looks amazing in the Gallery App but on YouTube the resolution is low..only 1080p. Pleasee, help me!
bla bla bla tooo much talking
chuft with herself for the ‘hack’ of using a mic. Turns phone around
Use it with FilmicPro for highest frame rates and max quality. Internal image stabilization. Serious! Turn it off! Immediately to never touch it again! Yes but you the walk movement in the movie. Pro tip: Ninja walk and hold gimbal in flashlight position, you will be amazed how solid this looks! If it was on rails.
I’ll wait till version number three
From Where I Cab Got this MIC??
Hi
Can u offer me a gimbal
As u r gift to u r friend
Even cheap
Pls mam
Smoth 4 the best
Great review — we ran into exactly the same problem that you described with the external mic, and likewise with the quality of the videos, we found that the default camera app produced much better results than the DJI Go app.
Great video, thank you.
Such a good review especially bringing up the external app issue!
I have one of these and I’ve struggled to use it as I have an iPhone XS Max, so for portrait filming, I can use it.
I went and bought a Benro 3XS Lite and that’s the availability to plug and external mic into the gimbal and the where the phone into the holder. It’s a great option in a decent gimbal that’s so cheap to buy. I’m stunned market leaders like DJI haven’t done this already
Been two years… No 4k 60…
Thanks for sharing new frend her
Does the charging port of the mobile support the charging of other devices, such as an external mic, for example, Zoom H1N?
I am satisfied of this gimbal. Dji Osmo 2
