Not surprising
People using these devices deserve to have their privacy violated.
Everyone is being listened to we are all being watched.
who can tell me the video of what she is talking about what are at stake for the company and the feeling of the woman and the reaction of the company
Ouais oauis
Where is Mrs assenza
They already knew this happens. It’s not rare. X‑box too.
Companies are like robots when it comes to privacy. They repeat the same line we take it very seriously but deep down you know… That’s bull crap
😨😨😨
They may sound like it was a complete surprise to them that this happened, but I promise you, it’s no accident and it is not going to get “fixed”.
Yall ready the TOS?
Karen on duty… you must love America
Screw Amazon. There crap is out of my life for good.
They are sorry, yes. They are sorry they got caught.
Amazon take privacy very seriously. That means theirs not yours.
i remember when we where talking and alexa replayed what we where talking about in an audio she recorded.
Read the fine print.. this wont seem like such a shocker.
I’ll turn my lights on and off myself!!! I don’t need excess emf radiation ☢️ in my house!! We already have enough!!
How do I find the full story?
My Google Assist shut down for two minutes one time. It asked me how my day was… I said that mybday sucked. It then said to me… “dont speak to me that way…” then shut down. When it turned back on.… it started to chastize us about how we spoke to her.…
It was creepy… not funny at all. Of course I tell the story and got laughed at.
Amazon are such liars making it seem like an accident. Being able to record and pass on and share audio info is what Alexa was designed to do. While it might be an accident that an employee was sent the audio files, it’s more likely audio is shared by Amazon to an endless stream of other businesses and even to authorities like government, military and police.
It’s the feds not up to Amazon to decide, go listen to Snowden talking about protect America act
The government isn’t spying on us! They’ve got better things to do. There’s a setting on your phone when you first set it up where you can click off a certain setting. Phones can pick up on keywords you say to provide tailored ads. But you can turn that off in your settings. It’s illegal to be listened too. It’s an invasion of privacy. That’s why that TikToker guy ‘birds aren’t real’ is laughable because pigeons aren’t drones that the government have made!
Yeah, Amazon appreciated them bringing this to their attention because the moment they hung up with them, the Amazon tech looked to his staff and said “damn, you guys need to do a better job of having Alexa listen in on private conversations without getting caught!!!” So, what “steps” are Amazon taking in the future that this never happens again — them never having Alexa spy on them or them not getting caught in the future? Alexa did it’s job — Amazon simply got caught.
