Solo: What didn’t work in the newest Star Wars movie

It was a great movie

Rogue one was the best Star Wars movie I ever watched. I’ll wait for this one to come on Red­box but I doubt if it’s even close. Woody Har­rel­son is too stiff for these movies.

I think I would’ve been bet­ter off shop­ping for gro­ceries than see­ing this poor excuse for a Star Wars movie.

Wtf. It’s out already?

The biggest prob­lem for the fran­chise are some fans of first tril­o­gy. I con­sid­er myself one of them, but those extreme ones. Those that were cry­ing when Lucas made pre­quels which even­tu­al­ly end­ed up twice as bet­ter and orig­i­nal than every­thing else after­wards. With Rogue One as pos­si­ble excep­tion, TFA and TLJ were craps. Espe­cial­ly the first, ode of joy just for those who were cry­ing for “give us back New Hope style”. TLJ had guts but it failed in any oth­er way and not to men­tion SJW com­plex­es. Well oth­er prob­lems are direc­tors who don’t want to risk and chal­lenge those extreme fans. Just keep it sim­ple, cause pre­quels chal­lenged their brains a lit­tle bit, exclud­ing that JAR JAR blasphemy 🙂

So wish­ing they’d fol­low the Star Wars Books Uni­verse for the movies with these “stand­alone”, “side” movies; as they’d prob­a­bly be a lot more inter­est­ing & have a Bet­ter Plot.….so enjoy the books🙂🙃

5/10. Its a gener­ic, often bor­ing, sci-fi pop­corn flick with SW char­ac­ters. Slight­ly bet­ter than TLJ, but does noth­ing for the lore of such an icon­ic character

Yo so much is wrong with this review that I don’t know where to start

I did­n’t think i’d like it based on the reviews and the kind of shal­low look­ing trail­er. So I was sur­prised how much i enjoyed the movie. I liked the act­ing, a lot of the con­cepts, and the ref­er­ences to the larg­er Star Wars universe.

I liked it — there’s a lot going against a movie with­out Har­ri­son Ford being Solo but this young actor did a good job with what felt was a some­what weak script.

star wars is over­rat­ed. it’s nev­er a good movie. it’s just spe­cial effects and noth­ing more, and nerd fans

I actu­al­ly liked it over­all, but Han speak­ing the Wook­ie lan­guage was hor­ri­ble and not believ­able. And cheesy. Oth­er than that it was good. Give it a chance. I’d rather watch it than Episode 8.

I thought every­thing the bur­ial scene the movie was bad. There was like a switch and the movie got real­ly good. They killed off rio too quick­ly aswell
