USB‑C is a complicated standard, and if you’ve got a new USB‑C laptop, you’ll probably want an external hub to get back some of the ports you’re missing, like HDMI, Ethernet, USB Type‑A, and SD card slots. We tried a bunch of hubs, considering things like charging speed, ports, design, and cost to find out which one is the best for your new computer. Subscribe:

Which USB‑C hub are you using?
No aux and you call is best? 😡
What is a Pionner model ?
So if I plug in a microphone via USB C HUB will the CPU be able to use the microphone still?
2:05 “4K video only works at 30 Hz and not 60 Hz.” What does mean in practice?
Can you use these hubs for laptops which don’t charge through USB C? Just as a USB adapter for HDMI monitors while charging the laptop via another port?
Why reviewing generic junk !?
The Satechi V2 says HDMI 4K (30HZ) but in the info on Amazon it says 60HZ? I have an LG 34″ Monitor and wondering if it will work… Just got a new M1 Air. Thanks
I have a question I got a USB hub and I connect two HDD’s and they both disconnect and connect constantly
Too bad the Satechi Type‑C MultiPort Adapter 4K V2 became a fire hazard after about 2 years, and also stopped working. Became so hot you can burn yourself on it, smells strongly burnt. Even with nothing plugged into it. Ethernet, USB, etc. stopped working. USB‑C passthrough stopped working, so cannot charge Macbook through it. Basically: worked fine for about 2 years (except HDMI didn’t work on some monitors), but then had throw it away. Electronic fire hazards are unacceptable. Will not buy Satechi again.
The HooToo link isn’t working, trying to figure out which USB hub for my Mac Mini M1. Doesn’t even show up on the search, maybe company went belly up.
Bought a WAVLINK 13-in‑1 (from Newegg) for about $80 a few months back. 2xUSB 2.0, 3xUSB3.0, 1xUSB‑C(PD), 1xSD, 1xMicroSD, 1xDisplayPort, 2xHDMI, 1xEthernet, 1x9mmAudio. Solid performance except that it gets so hot sometimes that it’s uncomfortable to rest my hand on it. I think maybe it gets so hot that my wireless mouse receiver is affected; since the signal seems to weaken with time.
why is there NO usb‑c ONLY hub they are almost all adaptes to other ports or combination hubs… still looking for a Purely UBS‑C only hub
Can you connect the the USB C cable that is attached to the tail end of this hub to a monitor that has USB C input? Laptop HDMI output connect to the hub.
يركب الايفون اذا ركبت له وصله ثانيه من Lightning to type C
Satechi looks great and works well for a year and then it glitches out everytime your MacBook goes to sleep.
Will this hub support my Samsung Tab S6 Lite?
I got MCY UCN3442 with two two HDMI ports but it doesn’t work
what do you think of the VAVA 11 in 1
The best usb‑c hub is vention 9in1. It’s so cheap ($40) and it’s so good. It has 4k hdmi port, gigabit ethernet, (3) USB 3.0, SD/TF Card slot, audio port, and 100w USB‑C PD.
Which one works with the Nintendo switch that has hdmi, usb‑c and Ethernet?
Can I plug in my usb cord in it
So is it working on Android ?
5:12 yea, NO.
I have a fully upgraded MacBook Pro Mid-2012 & I want to buy the Sony ZV E‑10 camera but my question is can you still edit photos from the Sony Camera to My 2012 MacBook Pro? If so which USB Hub should I get that will be fully compatible with my MacBook Pro?
Garkeinen von denen, sind alle schlecht für mich. Für mich ist wichtig: 1x usb c, 2x usb 3.0, und einmal audio 3.5mm
Aber jeder braucht ja immer was.
