Fortnite is the biggest game on the planet right now. But beyond being super popular, this game is incredibly important to the future of the industry. Fortnite is impacting how modern video games are developed, get popular, stay relevant, and make money.

it’s not.
I don’t like fortnite.
Played fortnite. It’s ok. Not sure what all the fuss is about.
The game isn’t anything special. I’m surprised it even got this far.
Ark Survival was close behind Fortnite but has been in development for mobile for a while. Considering the funding differences I’m not surprised. Just sucks that Wildcard won’t fix some stupid glitched in a +2 year old game
I don’t understand this pop culture mass hysterias. I mean I love games, but I want immersive experiences which can only give you big titles. I guess it’s the same with music industry.
Fortnite? You mean the free version of pubg?
Wow this guy is very likeable
Shame Epic support is so bad, otherwise every aspect of the game is very well done.
I hope it comes to android soon

Haters gonna hate, but sum all the gamers who don’t care about fortnite and never played it. That chunk is much bigger than people who play fortnite. Why making wrong assumptions, that everybody likes the features introduced by fortnite, just because it’s number one? This doesn’t mean the choices fortnite made are the most popular ones for the whole industry…
Sorry but it didn’t “come from nowhere”. Fortnite had a very aggressive marketing from the beginning, sponsoring lots of Twitch streamers and YouTube 1m+ channels. You make it sounds like a hidden indie gem suddenly noticed by everyone for it’s quality and made rightfully popular, when it’s not. Fortnite has a production value of a facebook game and its success is rather harmful to the gaming industry.
I find this hilarious, and I disagree with much of it.
Can’t wait to spend some real world money to buy my Season 5 battle pass
i usually don’t play a lot of mobile games nor I ever played “Fortnite”, but i do play on apps that earns you giftcard.
2:19 Cartoony for parents that don’t like video game violence. LOL. You are running around a map hunting your opponents down with GUNS.
Why grind and practice in games while there are so many more useful (and fun) things to grind and practice with in the real life?
pointless video
Its a sad gaming culture where milestone is some streamer playing mainstream shooter with Drake.
WTF is this video? Gaming 101 for non gamers?
Your voice is so soothing.
Fortnite is terrible even for a ftp. It may be a wildly popular phenomenon among casual and freemium gamers, but it literally offers nothing that hasn’t already been done before. It’s barely a year old. Give it a few more before touting its ability to stay relevant. A freemium cross platform casual online open world pvp battle arena survival shooter with a building mechanic being popular and successful? Real surprising…
Did they just google “most popular best selling genres among gamers with low standards” and crammed as much as they could find into another mediocre contribution to the already overly flooded market of cash grab junkware?
Atleast from my perspective pubg mobile is the game changer. Because not many people here buy the paid version of the game and not many people have the systems that runs fortnite at decent fps.
But 7 out of 10 people I know now play ping mobile .
Like 80% of the player base are 11 year olds who listen to mumble rap just saying. It’s only wildly popular because of the young age group and the fact its F2P.
I only play Fortnite because of my Galaxy skin.
So many people dissing on Fortnite in the comments section. 😂
to bad fornite is to rgn for esports. I think fortnite will die quick.
Who else hates flossing or does not play and hate fortnite
I think they don’t care if the game dies because they already made billions of dollars.
when you do research on kids… fortnite is mostly hated on most of my discord servers…
Not important, killing. No one else is playing other games. It’s gonna put people out of their jobs.
TF2 did all of this so many years ago.
