Parrot’s new drone Anafi is direct response to DJI’s Mavic Air — a compact drone capable of HDR 4K aerial footage. It also introduces three features you can’t find anywhere else, but is it enough to rival DJI?

Are the three unique features convincing enough for you to get the Anafi instead of the Mavic Air? — Vjeran
1:12 When the battery is in the drone, a 2–3 second press on the button shows its indicator without turning on the drone
👍🔥👍
First mistake not reviewing the Drone for what it was built to do within its specifications without using a top of the Heap brand to shoot it down 😞
Can it take 360 Panoramas?
No-kee‑a phones??? Really???
I’m a skilled pilot with tons of flight time experience and definitely find sensors super helpful for those close flights to objects. I tend to turn it off on most occasions but would rather know it’s there available whenever I need it.
Not impressed with the ANAFI so at least for me, I’ll rather pass on it.
The Boeing owns the sky
When it flew into a tree 😂
The tilt up seems like a cool feature for amateur filmmakers with some stylistic shots in mind, but honestly you can get most upward facing shots with a regular camera.
Also I expect to see a more cool upward flyby shots like under bridges or cliff faces, and also more videos of people crashing the drone cause they can’t see and there’s no obstacle avoidance.
I received my Parrot Anafi one month ago. It works very well. And the way that guy makes its sentences make me think he has some interest in DJI… Like when he says: There’s that feature but… is it useful? Like the fact to be able to put the camera up : It’s just seems normal that the camera is able to go in all directions no? and the fact that this guy didn’t find a way to use that just shows his lack of imagination…
I can’t stand DJI. Terrible customer support and my Spark was an absolute joke. Lost signal within 200m
I think your Apple watch could have been messing with the controller.
I think DJI send him parrot anafi to make a bad review ! lol
I just replaced my mavic with this anafi. and I think anafi has many advantages compared to mavic!! “Dont taking sides”.
Parrot just can’t deliver sadly. I own the Bebop 2 and even as a beginner in the world drone videography, I’m having difficulty filming due to it’s massive limitations.
It was so very hard not to buy this drone. I really really wanted to buy something that could make the mavic/mavic 2 sweat a little bit, but I just couldn’t do it. It’s such a unique looking little drone, I love the folding and the gimbal is off the chain…but in the end I had to go DJI.
i really hate the mavic air propeller sound its anoying to me…parrot is amazingly quit…i lv parrot anafi.…and also its lossless zoom function
Great helpful video thank you..👍
Haha but did you really just call the transmitter massive? I can tell your not used to hobby transmitters then..
This review ist not correct.
Wow, such bias.
Thanks for your review, good job! The big question, the best is? I have done my test with Parrot Anafi Gimbal and Zoom! Great begginner drone! Let’s go forward! Best Regards
dude anafi stantds its graund
I bought a Parrot Bebop 2 and the remote control had serious battery issue out of the box. The process of talking to Parrot and getting an exchange was by far the worst I have experienced in North America. Nobody knows what is going on and nobody knows how their own system works. They simply. don’t. know.
the controller finally came back to me after 2, 3 months and about 50 phone calls, however, by then the parrot drone had flown away and dived into the ocean without any control.
Competition is good, Parrot definitely is not an adequate competition in my experience.

You seem to have forgotten to mention the DJI sounds like a nest of angry hornets whereas the Anafi is so quiet that you seldom get people looking up at it when filming. Can make for far more natural shots. Neither do you get people complaining that you are disturbing their peace and quiet. BIG plus for the Anafi.
I can fly the Anafi at my home, which is in one of DJI’s NFZ. With my Mavic Air, or Spark, I have to drive 35+ miles from my home to fly them. So, to me the Anafi is my “go-to” drone.
If you are really doing an honest review… you should update this. The Anafi has several things that make it better than the mavic air for some. First and foremost is the noise level which you ignored and it is a huge difference. You take an Anafi and mavic air up 50 feet and see if you can tell the difference. The Anafi is silent at 50 feet but the mavic air sounds like angry bees. For those that either film wildlife like ducks or are filming in parks where they do not want to disturb others… the Anafi is winner hands down. Add to that the zoom which is super handy and the much longer run time with real world 25mins vs 20mins with mavic air… anafi wins those too. Finally, $499 purchase price vs. $699 is a big difference.
Nice!!🎵
I love Parrot ANAFI.❤️🎵😄👍🎵
DJI still owns your WALLET, Parrot is 3 steps ahead of everything always , remember that!
Anafi rocks. Love the drone don’t feel guilty buying as the price is good.
DJI commercial, Im out„„„„„„„,
Massive??? clearly your out of touch with reality, you lost me with that statement„„
I dont see any reason to use a DJI, do you need obstacle sensors ??? ( i don’t, and remind that the law requires drone pilots to look at their drones always), I prefer filming 4k, i prefer a way better camera app, and i prefer not to disturb people around me with a silent drone. I prefer better engineering above better marketing, the Anafi is lighter longer battery time , just look it up (oh you cannot do that with a DJI lookup..). Oh and you never get blades in the view with an Anafi, not even if we go fast forward. This is the drone filmers want, made by engineers
I have both of these. The dji draws a lot of attention because its noisy. The Parrot is way quieter and gets ignored by passersby.
Definetly worth the buy. Here in australia, the Anafi retail for around $900 whereas the cheapest Mavic Air is $1300 so sort of a no brainer to go with the Anafi if they are so similar
The Anafi has ZERO obstacle avoidance. That should be enough to justify not buying it.
Hi is the Anafi been updated and safer to fly now? I’m tempted to get it cause of the follow me. On the bike it’s great to only have to use the phone🤗
I had a bebop 2 that tended to drift alot and the controller somethimes sent a signal to bank left … turning off th controler and waiting the drone to retunr and then landing it with the phone was the only solution parrot hepled me devise.… go with dji
I ask you to compare any ‘DJI drone made to Anafi USA , I don’t see any DJI than can do 2hours run time, 32x Zoom and 70db sound from 3ft and flir capture from 1.2 mile away
Try it
DO NOT BUY PARROT ANAFI!!! I experienced a problem with my controller was was a fault with my controller being able to connect to my smartphone (having used it about 20 times). From reading various forums and comments (on youtube and trustpilot), this appears to be a common problem. And now Parrot won’t replace my controller. Also other interesting thing to note, there is no customer service telephone number in the UK.
Dji is greedy af!!!
