I real­ly don’t know how large the mar­ket is for gam­ing phones but I know some­one like me is very inter­est­ed in us there have been Chi­nese phones called snail they have come out they have built-in con­trollers on them I’m more inter­est­ed in that but doing my research I found out that the phone is way more com­pli­cat­ed to use than I would like I would get a snail but it’s just too com­pli­cat­ed for me i’m cur­rent­ly wait­ing for an Amer­i­can com­pa­ny to design a gam­ing phone like this with built-in con­trollers on it

It’s not bad

I have this device. I like almost every­thing about this phone, but dis­play could be a bit brighter, and I am so dis­ap­point­ed about sound on ear­phones. Not shure is this bea­cuse of ear­phones or Type C con­nec­tor, but sound is aver­age loud­ness on max, com­pare to my old M8 sound is much bet­ter bal­anced with less dis­tor­tion in sound while M8 is alot more loud­er and you can hear that stereo on boom sound mode on ear­phones. Speak­ers are great about this phone, qual­i­ty is great but not the best, and loud­ness is insane. Build qual­i­ty is just phe­nom­e­nal, bat­tery aver­age, charg­ing speed ok for 1 hour and 45 min­utes full charge, expend­able stor­age to 2 tera bites, per­for­mance insane, screen res­o­lu­tion also insane, cam­era is tricky, some­times pic­tures can be very good if not the best and some­times can be hor­ri­ble. That is soft­ware opti­mi­sa­tion prob­lem with HTC phones for many years, but now it is much bet­ter then before. If there are alot of shad­ows pic­ture will be hor­ri­ble and oposit. And what is unique about this phone that is edge sense and no but­tons press, nice fea­ture but not much to be impressed. My vote is 8.5 out of 10. If this phone could make great sound on ear­phones and cam­era bad shad­ows opti­mi­sa­tion and even slight­ly brighter screen that would be phe­nom­e­nal device. HTC is my favourite com­pa­ny and I will nev­er for­get when I bought my M8 best phone for me. I like audio depart­ment and M8 is still king of smart­phones in speak­ers and best phone ever made. I hope they will make anoth­er phone like M8 and be proud again!

Man I am still using the HTC U12+ in 2020, every­thing works nice and smooth, main­ly i am using the phone for pho­tos and film­ing with the native soft­ware and in some cas­es with 3rd par­ty soft­ware, I have to say that it still has the best qual­i­ty cam­era at the moment, i tried to change it because I want­ed a wider angle for film­ing and I test­ed the iPhone 11 Pro, HUAWEI P40 Pro Plus, HUAWEI P30 Pro, Sam­sung S20 and Sam­sung Note 10 but none of them pass the HTC at the image qual­i­ty, yes in some cas­es the image was look­ing arguably bet­ter (when look­ing at them on there own dis­plays) but, when you are com­par­ing the images on a big mon­i­tor the HTC has bet­ter and more detailed image, also the image sta­bi­liza­tion for video is bet­ter on those devices but this is not so impor­tant for me because am using a gim­bal and I am more inter­est­ed to have a detailed and nat­u­ral­ly col­ored video.
