I love the part where she tells how actu­al­ly old the arti­fact is.

This is real.

They now say humans were around almost a mil­lion years ago after find­ing relics much old­er than expect­ed. This could be from an ear­ly civil­i­sa­tion that was wiped out by a disaster.

I can t wrap my head around the fact the woman puts on her gloves and the men imme­di­ate­ly grap the object mul­ti­ple times with their bare hands…what was the lady think­ing besides the inter­est­ing details abt the object…

She puts her gloves, then they just pick it up in their hands. No respect for how the muse­um han­dles this part.
But what’s with the huge hole for a sam­ple. Did­n’t need to take that much.

It’s like­ly a piece of some form of seige­craft. bat­ter­ing ram or cat­a­pult part.
Oth­er pos­si­bil­i­ty is an esca­v­a­tor tooth.

This is a bla­tant instance of con­fir­ma­tion bias and the hasty gen­er­al­iza­tion fal­la­cy. It is clear that both Tsouka­los and Van Dankien are enter­ing the sit­u­a­tion hop­ing to find a hid­den mean­ing in an ancient arti­fact, though they pro­vide lit­tle to no evi­dence to sup­port this belief. One of Gruia’s main points in the video was that there are two pos­si­ble expla­na­tions for the curios­i­ty of this arti­fact. The first expla­na­tion she sug­gests is that it is sim­ply not as old as pre­vi­ous­ly believed and that the pati­na was in fact fal­si­fied. This is very believ­able con­sid­er­ing they have stat­ed no evi­dence as to how or when the object was dat­ed, as well as bla­tant­ly shar­ing false infor­ma­tion that a pati­na can­not be tam­pered with – when it in fact can. Gruia, how­ev­er, leans in favor of the sec­ond expla­na­tion, which is of course aliens. The Occam’s Razor prin­ci­ple states that if there are two equal­ly plau­si­ble expla­na­tions for an occur­rence, the the­o­ry requir­ing the least amount of assump­tion is favor­able. This video also brings into ques­tion cor­re­la­tion ver­sus cau­sa­tion. Tsouka­los and Von Daniken as well as Gruia all sug­gest that because the arti­fact was stored in pri­vate, it must mean there is a secret behind it. Just because an event occurs behind closed doors, does not mean that it was delib­er­ate­ly hid­den. In fact, it was prob­a­bly stored in the back because it does not have a place among the oth­er arti­facts in the col­lec­tion, espe­cial­ly if it was pro­duced in the recent past.

The cura­tor looks so ner­vous the whole time as these buf­foons are man­han­dling her artifact. 😂

No mys­tery here, this is part of an air­plane that fell off and smashed to the ground bury­ing itself. You have two world wars and pos­si­bly the 50s and 60s to con­sid­er. Pati­na can also be attrib­uted to the envi­ron­men­tal expo­sure this part had dur­ing its nor­mal use.

Seems like a rope could be used maybe for tam­ing a wooly mammoth?

We know it is impor­tant but we don’t know what it is so we hide it from public….

What caused the pati­na? How it was pro­duced? Are there any fur­ther infor­ma­tions regard­ing this tooth?
