Hurricane Florence From Space on September 12
nasa,space station,hurricane florence,hurricanes
A high definition camera outside the International Space Station captured a stark and sobering view of Hurricane Florence at 7:50 a.m. EDT on Sept. 12. NASA satellites track the storm:
This video was taken as Florence churned across the Atlantic in a west-northwesterly direction with winds of 130 miles an hour. The National Hurricane Center forecasts additional strengthening for Florence before it reaches the coastline of North Carolina and South Carolina early Friday, Sept. 14.

wow the earth is not flat .…..Hurricane Florence look huge. From space holy shit
This from a go pro? From the ISS?
If the curvature in the is supposed video is there to give a sense of scale, then this huricane is bigger than the entire north american contenent. Give me a break NASA.
Alv :0
Based on my calculations. The actual size of the hurricane is 5000 miles across.
Could someone from NASA please explain why the hurricane looks to be about the size of Antarctica. It’s not even close to that size.
Nasa pls save us in 2029:astroid
Dirty dirty lens
my.…thats a big one
At first, it made me think of Olympus Mons. 🙂
Best wishes to everyone along with their pets and property, …and future insurance premiums.
What the heck is that snake like thing on the left of the screen? Alien or man-made
it’s look so interesting from space.😍…bt on earth it’s very scaring 😰

Quick pull the plug!
DESTRUCTION!!!!
Nature is Devastatingly Beautiful…
Send a satellite to a black hole
No one say ” this video made using CGI ” LOL.. 😂
I wonder how it’s possible for people to dislike something that just is..
More dramatic foolishness. I feel for all the flooded houses, but people this is a Cat 2 storm. That is weak. 65 mph winds, it is actually a big tropical storm. There will be a lot of rain, cost a lot of money, but hardly dangerous. Compare a Cat 5 like Andrew or Irma, Harvey, Irene these were 200 mph winds, that is a hurricane that can be scary. But the news will still try to say “It’s the largest storm on record” to get ratings. They go by how much the damage cost, instead of how powerful. Of course a modern hurricane will cost much more than something in the 1970’s or 80’s.
It looks way bigger than those animated satellite images there’re showing us on msm
Quê porra é essa mano
53 thumbs down? Seriously? NASA and the ISS will never get one from me [got another thumbs up!].
crei que los huracanes giraban
