Old news but very true! This is one of the reason why colleges demonstrated throughout the country in the states. The students understood and how it was being played out in Vietnam and other parts of Southeast Asia. Central America is the Maya road. This is also happening in South America today. Jacobo Arbenz wanted to help his nation populated largely by Maya Indigenous people, as a president should. US Corporation wanted control of all the land so he was removed by the CIA. The problem with President Arbenz he was ahead of his time and a humanitarian.
As much as I love capitalism there are some ways we could improve it. Communism meant well but it also went off the rails. Capitalism is also not a perfect system. We need a more fair system. A hybrid.
