Impossible Foods came incredibly close to the real thing with its plant-based vegan Impossible Burger, but there was still something missing, it was still an imitation. But now, the burger is pretty much indistinguishable from the real deal. And the new recipe is being rolled out to 5,000 restaurants and chains across the US. Now with the burger conquered, the Impossible team is setting their sights on new culinary targets, like steak.

I tried it today.…OMG its delicious! Im hooked!
The cross section looks more like tuna than beef, but I still want to try it very badly.
make it available to people without having to go to a restaurant and make the cost more in line for everyday consumers and people will switch. right now too hard to find in the general market and and way too expensive!
I need to go get that bro! I am not vegan btw.
The magic ingredient is Heme. Heme or haem is a coordination complex “consisting of an iron ion coordinated to a porphyrin acting as a tetradentate ligand, and to one or two axial ligands.”[1] The definition is loose, and many depictions omit the axial ligands.[2] Many porphyrin-containing metalloproteins have heme as their prosthetic group; these are known as hemoproteins. are most commonly recognized as components of hemoglobin, the red pigment in blood, but are also found in a number of other biologically important hemoproteins such as myoglobin, cytochromes, catalases, heme peroxidase, and endothelial nitric oxide synthase. When you cook meat the Red myoglobin begins to denature, chemically change, into tan colored hemichrome. This is the browning and the umami flavouring which is tested on human feotus to get the flavour factor. Especially if this product is connected to Nestle which I believe it is in the back ground. Go Google it.
It is going to change the way of fast food in restaurants.
Arrives soon in Brazil, please.
Hamburger/Salisbury Steak?
Nooooooo why why this is against god meat is supposed to be meat not fake meat that’s what poor people eat I want real meat not paper fake meat why did they do this noooooooooooooooooooooo !!!!!!!!!
For the red, use annatto.
I tried an Impossible Whopper yesterday, its aroma was reminiscent of toasted sesame, I assume from the sunflower seeds. The flavor wasn’t exact, but not unpleasant. The chew however, was spot on. It was filling, and satisfying, I’d definitely order it again when I’m not wanting a beef burger. The bottom line is: It tasted like a Whopper.
i like that T‑Shirt of the CEO
Yummy!!
(I am a meat eater) and I tried the impossible burger — and really enjoyed it. I think it is 98% as tasting as beef. — Which comes from “iron” / “heme” — which is found in all plants & animals/cows. — It gave me a better boost of energy without the heaviness and feeling tired after eating “real beef” — Please get it into more chains — and local supermarkets — 🙂
Still not healthier, quite the contrary.
Still think the beyond burger is even better!
Еще немного и будут жрать пластмассовые котлеты,нах.. такая европа.
TO ALL THE VEGETABLEARIANS — You do realize there there are 100 MILLION cows in the USA alone that are all used for meat or milk or both right? As soon as we stop eating them they will all die. Don’t believe me? Look at how many buffalo there are left in this country. There were Hundred of Millions of them and we decided cows were easier to manage now they are all dead. Well not all, there is a reservation in Oklahoma with less than 10 thousand of them. If we stop eating cows and chickens and pigs end all these other animals thats fine with me. From a vegetarian or animal rights point of view just understand that if you replace them as a food source you will be responsible for the deaths of hundreds of millions of these animals as soon as there is no profit in keeping them around. Yes you could argue that its no life to live only to die as food for something else but remember how we got here. For 100 million years we were a part of the natural food chain as well until we clawed our way above it. You might refuse to eat a cow but a lion will still gladly eat you.
Wow — just tried this — the Impossible Whopper at Burger King — oh my, so delicious! Incredibly tasty. I’m all for living in a way that is more sustainable (plus I love animals!).….try it — you will love!
In fifty years, we’ll all look back and think about all the animals we killed “back in the day.” We’ll be eating a sorts of meat analogs. Impossible Foods burger is the closest thing. It’s way better than the uncanny valley style stuffs like Beyond.
They are ok if you don’t mind eating GM stuff.
por favor necesito los ingredientes en español.
We’re just going to ignore the fact that the impossible burger is geneticalły modįfied and tests positive for głyphosate (Monsānto RoūndUp)? Oh look, the American Bumblebee is extinct in 8 states…
fast-forward a few years only to find out how toxic this stuff is lmao
