Apple’s new iPad Air has almost all of the features people want from a iPad Pro — without paying Pro prices. Compared to the basic iPad, you get a better screen, a keyboard connector, and a much faster processor. But it still has a physical Touch ID home button for unlocking and a lightning port for charging. Dieter Bohn reviews the iPad Air and explains why it’s the best iPad for most people — because it’s the happy medium.

Do you think this iPad is for you — or would you prefer something else entirely?
I did an audit of my intended tasks for an iPad Pro. I discovered that I could use an iPad Air 3 for most of those activities with third party dongles. I also found magnetic sleeves and cap covers that help prevent you losing the Apple Pencil 1st gen. If you never see Pro Motion you never miss it. You don’t lose the opportunities to create and be productive using the air over the pro and the accessories to bridge the gap between the air and the pro cost less than 20% of the price difference between the base level air and pro. Look at the available third party accessories before making your decision.
Is this iPad the same size of the iPad Air 2 or biger
iPad + MacBook Air =
So now that the iPad has a 10.2” screen and a keyboard connector, is the air worth it?
I have been hooked on iPad mini since AT&T sold some overstock model to me when I got my first iPhone. I bumped up to a mini 5 when the overstock one finally died. I have it paired with a Zagg keyboard and a Logitech Crayon, and it really IS my replacement for a laptop. I pretty much do any computing I need to on this little guy, and I love, love, LOVE it at conferences for taking notes. It just hits the sweet spot for me. The only downside of this for me is that some apps only work in portrait mode since they think this an iPhone. Otherwise, all the significant apps perform in portrait mode, and work just fine.
Nice presentation
It’s just a video essay. And pretty useless too.
Would you ever consider getting a refurbished pro?? I’m really on the fence

Should we take advice from a website that thinks a sweatband is an anti static wristband?
Price
I came so close to getting this, glad I waited. The iPad Pro 2021 is just to damn nice and I buy an iPad once every like five years so I wanted something nicer. My mom is still using my og iPad Pro 9.7”.. those things LAST.
So u make me watch all 7 minutes to wait you said ” it’s an affordable ipad air with a greater spec of the ipad 8 ” ?
Give me back my valuable time
I’m thinking of getting an iPad Air.
Do you know anyone who can donate one?
