Galaxy Fold review: What works and doesn’t work

I need that red chair in my life. Any­one know who makes it?

This is the first time I have seen this Device actu­al­ly being used/demonstrated.

I find myself won­der­ing, if “You”, or “any­one”, are now, or will be appre­ci­at­ing this “Fold­able” con­trap­tion “more than”, say,
a, seperate“Dedicated large screen Phone”, and a “sep­a­rate, Ded­i­cat­ed small Tablet”, for, as far as I can see, no more of a rea­son than the abil­i­ty to have the “two” devices, in “one” , which can then be, “crammed” into ones “pock­et” !

In spite of the, “I feel” Obvi­ous fact that nei­ther, “Phone” nor “Tablet” is the best at what it does, “and” is already offered by way of, Stand alone Phones, and Tablets in vary­ing sizes
of choice !

Not to men­tion, as You point­ed out, would any­one actu­al­ly feel com­fort­able using a Tablet, albeit a small one, when out and about ?

Although not par­tic­u­lar­ly try­ing to sound neg­a­tive, I sim­ply don’t see a “Fold­able” device as a Nec­es­sary, or “Tru­ly” inno­v­a­tive thing from “Any” Com­pa­ny, but mere­ly an “Non — nec­es­sary“
Gim­mick 🤨 😏 !

Just say­ing, for myself, I would much pre­fer, Phone & Tablet (with sizes of choice), to be
“Sep­a­rate Entities” 🤔.

I under­stand, Inno­va­tion is a “Good” thing, but in the “Ver­nac­u­lar”, Fold­ables “Ain’t It” !

lol @ how it sticks out when she puts it in her pock­et. that is not putting in your pock­et. dare you to ride your bike with a phone stick­ing out like that. i guess she has tiny pock­ets. any­ways gg, on not using it like nor­mal peo­ple and there­for not expe­ri­enc­ing the same issues.

She’s a great review­er. Almost as good as Coo­ley. But not quite. Hehe.

I don’t think fold­ing phone will be a thing. The crease in the mid­dle every time you fold and unfold will even­tu­al­ly be a big problem.

And it’s back for release now! Get those pre orders ready.

They just post­poned the launch of the fold­able phone last march.
Then what if SAMSUNG ‘pur­pose­ly’ made an actu­al mis­take for it not to be released last march and also for huawei for them to delayed their launch as well????
