This man puts a dinner on for all survivors of WW2 survivors, I help him every year. OUT OF HIS OWJ POCKET.
This year, being his 37th and final dinner. He has shaped the model life of any great American, and I am blessed to know him.

So there eight hater’s of Veteran and Freedom with their thumb’s down.
Well get out of America then.
My mother was 15 when she was liberated in May 45, living in Utrecht, The Netherlands. Till she died at age 84, she talked about the English soldier who gave her tea and chocolate and told her she was a “pretty girl”. It meant so much to her, and to me now. Thank you, liberator!
The bombs thi.
Just watched this again with tears in my eyes. Such a beautiful story. Very moving.

We remember.
Ain’t nothing like freedom and chocolate!
In 1981 in Indianapolis, Mr. Marie was the producer of a play I was in at the Indiana Repertory Theater. He was supportive of artists; he often spoke of ‘freedom’ in a different way for artists, but just as important. And he had a huge laugh. Since he passed in 2021, I have often thought of that experience and simply smiled…he had that effect on people. Thank you, sir.
