i hate LCD screens

This might seem crazy but I use car wax on my thinkpad x1 car­bon (only the mat­te black shell cas­ing). it makes it feel quite nice. It helps with fin­ger­prints if it both­ers you, not the best with fin­ger­prints but feels cool wax­ing your lap­top… Haha. Any oth­er ideas would be inter­est­ing 🙂 PS: I wax it (not wash it) because I like how it looks/feels just a lit­tle bit more, not because of fin­ger­prints specifically.

I would like to raise an impor­tant point — your new sil­ver X1 Car­bon 6th Gen WQHD screen looks remark­ably dull in con­trast to the very bright ‘stan­dard’ X1 6th Gen screen. This rather impor­tant point was not men­tioned in your video. There are a num­ber of shots of the lap­tops side by side show­ing the view­er this issue of the dif­fer­ence in screens.
How do you feel about the vari­a­tion of screens now that you have used your sil­ver X1.

While the machine itself might be good I want to warn you. The cos­tumer ser­vice of Leno­vo is the worst.
Lit­er­al­ly the worst of all cos­tumer ser­vices I ever had con­tact with.

Bought a Lap­top and after half a year the frame of the screen peeled off. The machine lit­er­al­ly just stood on a table and I watched movies with it.
With the guar­an­ty of still one and a half year I con­tact­ed the cos­tumer ser­vice.
- Had to call over 5 times and wait over 3/4 weeks to make them send me a return slip.
- Then they told me that I have to pay for the repair since it was my fault that the frame of a brand new lap­top peeled off…

Then I agreed to pay, since I need­ed the machine and send it over. They did­n’t even con­tact­ed me when it arrived. After 3 weeks of wait­ing I called them to send me an arrival con­fir­ma­tion. Then I had to wait anoth­er full month for the “REPAIR”, which was very fun­ny, because the just had to glue the frame back to its place.

That’s not just a coin­ci­dence this com­pa­ny just shits on you. Just read the cus­tomer reviews about leno­vo… nev­er again.
