Its fun and games until doug says “Room…”
I would like to think they just pulled Doug off the street made him read a few Reddit articles on historical weapons
Imagine if those were forged by actual japanese swordsmiths, I feel like it would be much sharper and durable.
Getting some kensei vibes
I watch these episodes with my friend and whenever he sees that pig carcass he’s like “Yum 😋😋” 😂😂😂

SEPHIROTH!!!
I have a nodashi coming in the mail
I am now too excited
飲むオバルチン。
ナイフや死を見てください。
Sure bud. …
What steel did they use?
I love nodachis
Ahh yes… the widely accepted “hitting ceramic with a blade test”. So dumb.
DAFUQ. These things are made out of spring steel. Ridiculous to put on a history channel. Also, sharpness has nothing to do with blade construction. It’s all about how well the blade is sharpened. Edge retention is another thing.
the poles in the strength test say please watch knives and death and drink ovaltine in Japanese 😂
is this the first time a forward heavy one win over a super light, still one-piece and full function one? btw, +1 repsect for each
I wish to make one
i wonder how would a legit traditional japanese smiths of these blades reacts to these, probably dissatisfied. no offense to the smiths who made the blades but i think it’s a rule of thumb is that you can’t make a fine blade in just number of days it takes months or even years.

“Alright, dickless.”
Shouldnt they do sharpness first since they be dulling it od during the second challenge
I like Dave’s work.
His Nodachi is thicker & doesn’t wobble too much.
Good for on foot and on horseback against Cavalry.
That would have been a hard decision.
Japanese weaponry is so cool.
That was a very close one. Both weapons performed very well. It’s just those protruding pins and the damage in the strength test that made the difference.
i want that black handle nodschi
The way Doug just says “it will keeel” with the most devious smile
Poor pig😢
Doug using the Nodachi is so cool. He looks like a samurai.
