My 2005 Corolla has two hundred and fifty thousand miles on it. I have kept her up by keeping it tuned up e.g. like good new spark plugs and other maitiance. I can get 2 weeks or more from a full tank. This is my best answer to those that don’t have money for an expensive electric car. My car is now paying me back and because it has lasted so long the carbon foot print of destroying the car at a junk yard and using the metal for a new car has been avoided. I hope to get 20 more years from her.
the smaller more affordable Aptera II will be the one I want. It will be available in the USA in later 2020.
OMG SOOO COOl
WAY over-priced. Personally I think these already should be out but for 1/10th of the price or even less, it doesn’t even have a rear view window. Yes I know that is the concept model.
1:11 Yes But There is No Desert in Europe
Why go with a TSLA when you can have a NIO?
How bout this? Make it less expensive so we can use more solar powered vehicles instead of destroying our world with the usage of gas and electricity in our vehicles? Sounds like a good deal to me
Love it! And if the sun is not shining, there is also no reason to leave the house anymore, as we can work from home now.
think of it: 135000$ for the car. And that is just the beginning. The end is:5000 a year for insurance, if you are lucky. Deal broken.
this is even better option than tesla has to offer
Hope this company goes publicly traded!!! Just imagine all they hype and money they get
A solar-powered car sounds like a pretty cool idea, but do the solar panels require direct sunlight in order to charge the car or can they be charged from a distance?
Humanity and Earth needs these cars 101.
I can’t find her top speed anywhere
They can give it to me for testing
Background information: the builders won the ‘World Solar Channel’ several times from big competitors as Honda etc. After this experience they designed the Lightyear One.
Price is ridiculous and why it has to be so ugly!?
Imagine driving this thing through some rough terrain or up a hill and it starts getting super cloudy
It’s clear like daylight: Tesla heavily, and I mean HEAVILY, influenced the design language for EV’s.
Get a LUCID AIR.
Why can’t batteries take a different form in different area of the vehicle? Also 3d print chips?
Take my money!!!!
