Stopped watch­ing this video because of the 24fps stut­ter. Ffs how hard is to use 60fps and 4k in 2019? My one year old phone can do 4k@60fps.

This is sick. Looks like in the future we just gonna need 2x snap­drag­on 855 plus in a sin­gle android phone to make it even pow­er­ful which is snap­drag­on 1710 so we can play 4K games at 120fps but still with over­heat­ing and pow­er con­sump­tion issue.

Peo­ple talk about One­plus releas­ing a new device every 6 months… Nobody says any­thing when Sam­sung does it with the Galaxy S series and the Note series.

While the GPU might be mod­est­ly more per­for­mant the over­all dif­fer­ence seems like it does­n’t real­ly make a whole lot of sense. I’m sure every­one can wait a lit­tle longer for the actu­al true suc­ces­sor to the 855, the plus mod­el just seems a lit­tle odd but I sup­pose the more options the better.

I play a lot of emu­la­tors so the 855+ will be worth it

I can see why googled passed on the 855+ for the reg­u­lar 855 on pix­el 4. Its just a slight­ly over­clocked 855 any­way. Back when google used the 821 for orig­i­nal pix­el they did­n’t even use the extra clock speed, they under clocked it to sd820 speeds.

Can SD 855+ be down­clocked to 855 ? or even 845 or 835 ?? I bought Black Shark 2 Pro still on the way but now I kin­da regret it know­ing the bat­tery life is only around 3:30h, while Black Shark 2 non pro can last 5h. I don’t actu­al­ly need pow­er­ful proces­sor espe­cial­ly that it is an oc which of course more pow­er hun­gry while this is a mobile device which runs on bat­tery. Should buy ROG Phone 2 since the bat­tery is 1.5x so even with max per­for­mance the bat­tery life is longer, can even last longer with screen set to 60hz.
