The Cake Kalk& is a fully electric street-legal motorcycle that ships to your door. Joseph Kaminski got to take one for a spin.

What do you guys think of electric motorcycles in general? We thought this one was pretty cool, even if we had a very short time to ride it! And check out cnet.com for more information, the full review, etc. 🙂
If it was like 3–4k I’d consider it but 14k??!! Come on
This is so sick. We here at boom moto are glad to see Electric Motorcycle take of here in the states.
Bike looks cheap. Too much travel in the rear. Mirror and turn signal posts look like they’ll snap if dropped. Motor looks like every other battery. Why not, cover the battery with some type of metal mesh to hide and protect? Too much plastic.
Looks fun though.
Hi, would it be possible for this kalk bike from cake to be converted into a three wheel bike? I have balance issues
1:30 Volvo GT
It doesn’t come with frosting??
Everybody likes it till they see the price
The price certainly is hi. to much unnecessary expensive parts! you can made this in you home for 3k.…. And with more range and power.…
Wow cool
Do i need a license to druve it ?
yea this is cool and all but 14000 bucks for for a 55mph moto feels a bit pricy…
I have created a website for other Kalk& owners. There is little to nothing online about actual ownership. @t
its 14k because its not mass produced and the batteries in that thing cost at least 2k
Firstly what kind of name is cake. Secondly that battery pack block mid section is seriously ugly. Why not some kind of lightweight casing?
I would sooooooo ride that bike!
0:20 street legal: not in europe it ain’t !! all new motorcycles here have to be fitted with abs brakes
2:50 shifting gears makes your plimsolls dirty. are you a homosexualist-rainbow-type person (+) or somesuch? also #2 buy some f‑in bike boots
Pharrell brought me here
I really like this bike, but it’s so expensive
Styling looks like a lego creation.
i need onnee😢
So can you drive it i the street/ urban contest without the license?
Whats the seat height on this thing? Looks tall.
I don’t like the noise. I want silent.
who is stupid want pay 13000 for this piece crap
That bike looks sick
Amazing looking bike but that price!
Why so expensive
When you plug it in to charge the batteries the power plant has to burn more fossil fuel to make that electricity! No CO2 emissions reduction there, you simply move the emissions point to the power plant! Instead of making more and more plug in toys we should be putting our efforts into reducing power use. All new electric gadgets just add more load on the power grid!
You sitting wrong. You should sit on the white part.
Cost? Range? Performance numbers?
I thought Tesla was gonna come out with this but wow I want one!!!
It really makes you wonder! Electric motorcycles make so much sense, yet sales a low. Why? Because they are so ridiculously expensive! Asking more than 10 000 USD for a bike that can only be used for a couple of hours a day in the city is foolish! For that price you can buy 2 conventional motorcycles which will be so much more practical!
The streetlegal elements integrarion is realy bad. Pitty
I have been riding motorcycles for 50 years and not one time did I ever notice and damage to my shoes from shifting with my left foot mainly because I could never see though the mud. and I was to busy trying to land!
