The only reason to get a Switch Lite: full review

I bought the Switch lite because I have an Xbox One at home, and my broth­er has a 2ds Xl

Hon­est­ly they have made it super easy in the recent times to have two switch­es so ide­al­ly id sug­gest get­ting both but if not and u dont care too much about tv 100 per­cent get the lite its real­ly nice and so much more pleaseant to play hand­held. If u just gonna play on tv then dont get it. I have both which took me a while to save up for but it was very worth it!

How much did this guy smoke before film­ing this

Rea­sons to choose Switch Lite
- you only want to play portable and have no need to play it on TV (play while lying on the bed or bring it any­where)
- you already have a con­sole like (PS5, PS4, XBOX, etc)
- small­er and cheap­er
- newest portable sys­tem
- you like the col­or bet­ter 😂
- you don’t have a TV

The lite is bet­ter to hold

I trad­ed in my reg­u­lar v1 switch for the lite. I was always play­ing in hand­held any­way and found the reg­u­lar switch to be a bit on the heavy side when using it as a hand­held. It would get uncom­fort­able after only an hour or so of play­ing. I bought a grip and it helped but the weight was still mak­ing it uncom­fort­able. I final­ly just said why not get the lite? I couldn’t be hap­pi­er hav­ing the lite instead of the reg­u­lar. It feels great in the hands which is per­fect for me since mine are very small. The screen is small­er but still suf­fi­cient enough in size. The but­tons feel bet­ter and the built in d pad is amaz­ing. I got the turquoise col­or and I love it!

already have a decent PC so switch lite is a go go!

The switch lite is a sec­ondary con­sole, it’s nice to have if you already have a more pow­er­ful gam­ing con­sole at home. Play­ing sin­gle play­er games and ports on the lite is def­i­nite­ly nice. I have a PC but I just want­ed to expe­ri­ence the nin­ten­do library, so I bought a switch lite. Plus, it gives off big nos­tal­gia vibes that the old­er hand­helds pro­vid­ed when I was younger.

I get headaches look­ing at larg­er dis­plays (such as TVs). I imag­ine the Joy-Cons jig­gle a bit on the con­sole, which would dri­ve me mad. I don’t real­ly play mul­ti­play­er, just game by myself, not even online.

I am think­ing about it so my kids don’t have to fight over the reg­u­lar one any­more. With all the stuck at home stuff we’ve been deal­ing with, my son plays a lot with his friends vir­tu­al­ly. So my daugh­ter does­n’t get fair access to it. I think the switch lite is a great option for a sec­ond switch.

Online sucks on the switch lite

Review­ers aren’t keep­ing in mind that it’s not just $100 for the extra stuff like dock­ing. You also have to buy the dock sep­a­rate­ly for $60, mak­ing it a $160 extra for actu­al­ly switching.

Let’s be real. We all want switch lite just so we can play skyrim anywhere.

I bought the switch lite because I’m gonna use it as a portable console

I’m get­ting the coral (pink) Switch Lite for Christ­mas this year with two Poke­mon games and this one Digi­mon game I found inter­est­ing. Can’t play until Christ­mas, but so far only one of the Poke­mon games isn’t here yet. Arrives this week. I’m also get­ting the flip cover. 

Some­thing I’ve been won­der­ing is how the save data works. Does it set up some data for each game upon the first save (for each game), how much space does a sin­gle save take up, etc. Can you clear this up for me? I just don’t want to be forced to delete my progress. Nev­er had to with my New 2DS XL. 

I’m not going for the online sub­scrip­tion see­ing I’ve nev­er cared for it. Pay­ing Nin­ten­do on top of your inter­net provider has nev­er been my thing.

Do they offer an upgrad­ed bat­tery for the switch light after­mar­ket maybe that’s the only issue that I am see­ing with it I agree with every­thing else that you said in the video seems like the bat­tery doesn’t last near­ly as long

I want­ed a Nin­ten­do switch lite but now I think I want the nor­mal Nin­ten­do switch.

I just want it bc of the emulator

Every­body should only get the switch lite espe­cial­ly since it’s a lot cheap­er and it’s a lot eas­i­er to take every­where with u
