I was there yes­ter­day June 06/01/22 And it’s a very beau­ti­ful house with 10,000 win­dows 2000 doors in 160 Rooms . He’s very beau­ti­ful but he’s kind of scary. And he feels a lit­tle weird when you work inside .

Heres the real sto­ry:
After Sarah’s hus­band died, and she was left with the house, some­how she came upon a leg­end or sto­ry of some­sort that said that ghosts were haunt­ing her. Since Sarah whole­heart­ed­ly beleived this, she hired builders to work non­stop on the house. The build stair­cas­es that led to nowhere and odds and ends that made no sense as to con­fuse the ghosts who she thought were haunt­ing her. She con­tin­ued to build it until the day she died.

Some of this is actu­al­ly kind of fake because she actu­al­ly built it all her­self did­n’t tell any­body to do any­thing she both every­thing her­self with a ham­mer screws and every­thing else with their own arms the spir­its in the house pok­er what to build and if she stopped She would die so she had to keep on build­ing every­day for the rest of your life

The sto­ry is that she built the house like a maze to con­fuse and essen­tial­ly entrap the spir­its who are seek­ing revenge for los­ing their lives to the Win­ches­ter gun. So she kept adding more and more con­nec­tions to the house and on the inside, mak­ing it con­fus­ing on purpose.

I thought they only put out facts on the His­to­ry chan­nel? Was she not in fact his daugh­ter, not his wife? And no one’s gun­na talk about how con­struc­tion stopped after an earth­quake dev­as­tat­ed the home? It knocked out the 3rd and 4th floors as well as the tow­er that had 7 floors- this is why there are stairs lead­ing to no where, after the earth­quake she made the home safe but did not rebuild. I find it crazy that every­one has ran with this ridicu­lous sto­ry when there’s facts out there that make a lot more sense.

My boyfriend made a jok­ing ref­er­ence to this house while talk­ing on the phone to some­one who is design­ing a lit­tle project for him, so I had to look it up. Nev­er heard of it, but already, I have the­o­rized that if she thought con­tin­ued con­struc­tion would keep her alive, then maybe it was just because she knew there would always be some­one around to talk to. I per­son­al­ly like offer­ing cold drinks and snacks to peo­ple doing work for us because we can no longer do hard work. We’ve got­ten too old. It’s nice hav­ing peo­ple to talk to.
