Microsoft’s future device looks like a real winner. Here is why the dual screen tablet will be a hit.

I waaaaaaant.
What about the camera?
I do agree the bird term. The axon and that LG one is too “ugly” me. The Duo actually looks decent. Maybe because it’s a clean design and that 4:3 screen is appealing because it’s rare for a modern phone.
take my money
Take my money right now.
I’M EXCITED FOR THIS DEVICE, BUT DOES IT HAVE A HIDDEN STORAGE AREA FOR THE STYLUS
To me, without Windows, it’s just another droid.
I still use my Nokia 950, and will continue to until the battery dies.
Man I’m so excited and can’t wait to we get them.
Hope it has dual sim and SD slot.… or am I expecting too much! LOL
so it’s basically a rip off of LG v50?
would be good if it could run android on one screen and windows on the other…
With TCL not doing a Blackberry key3 I wasn’t sure what my next phone would be… looks like the Duo will be a contender.
Is it 5g capable
No matter what kind of innovation the Surface Duo puts on the table; it will succeed/fail with the camera. Or lack there of…
no it wont
Yes I am, can’t wait, holding off of every other phone coming out, waiting for this one 👀👀👍👍👍♥️
Nice only for home but outside not good looks like so heavy, small is nice very comfortable in my bag
I wish I could get Windows 10X on Surface Duo, not Android.
Been a surface user cant wait for Duo and neo its gonna be productivity all the way
foldable screens are as soft as melted cheese.…
My next phone
i love it, but also love to see some tweaks on it to make it even better, here is my top 3 list:
1. Its 2020 get rid of those freaking forehead and chin, if other companies can go bezelless im sure microsoft can go a lot slimmer.
2. Give us a small touch screen on the front to take calls.. otherwise now we have to open the freaking thing to answer calls ‑_-
3. Make them less wide… if they are suppose to be a phone.. this is too wide for a phone.. shorten it and get rid of the forehead and chin to give us a bigger inch screen.
I personally would at least want to have windows on the surface duo..
I’m done with Apple.
Hopefully and praying, Microsoft will release this in the market with a Full Windows X and or a dual bootable with Android! So everybody will get the best of both worlds!!!
AND THAT IS A GAME CHANGER!!!
Want it but hope it’s not a flop. I really hope it shows off as Microsoft and not so much android. Make it memorable and worthy of lasting years 🤞
I see two potential problems; 1) you have to open it to see who is calling, and 2) using it in car for navigation. I’ll just have to wait and see. I’m looking forward to this device.
No memory expansion
in 2021 guess what new design and bam can see upgrade snapdragon 2021, really 5g is not rolled out everywhere either a few city’s here 5g capable kinda 5g but don’t go far from the city lol. If the price is good will still be a great phone. Microsoft Surface Duo FOLD Cheapest touchscreen Phone | FOLDING PHONE 2020 from another video so thinking price not bad. Looking forward to it for sure.
So another phone running Android?
5 good reason to buy the Duo. Now for the 6th, how much will it cost ?
Has no external storage. Deal breaker for me.
It would be good if Windows apps are plugged in into Google Drive since Microsoft is partnering with Google. And with Duo some evidence of that synergies should be evident.
Just release the damn thing and take my money. I want it NOW!!
This thing is gonna fail so hard. I thought Microsoft stopped making crap hardware when Ballmer was let go. They never learn, and they will never be cool.
Big question for me is, can’t you just do all these on a foldable like the Samsung fold, but without the bezel in the middle? And it’s going to be using a basically two generation processor by the time it comes out…
Remember the Samsung Ativ Q
Microsoft finally made a way…
I’ll keep my note 10, but this will be my second phone. a little too big to carry in my pocket, but perhaps it’s big enough to replace my tablet
no
I look forward to the DUO, it might give me a chance to ditch my iPhone finally!
Complete failure, there, i called it!
You have to use 2 hands to see who texted you, what a stupid design.
I am not a hater, i would pay a grand for this if it was an LTE tablet, but as a freaking phone?
And it is NOT NEW, the courier has been in design for 20 years, and this doesn’t even do what the courier did 20 years ago.
The tablet they are bringing in 2022 is just a thinner copy of the Libretto dual screen laptop
looks dope
It is the device for which i have been waiting since the Courier. Now, they have it but I have worries about the quality of the product. First of all, the elephant bezel is just an utter disappointment. The second is the ear speaker that looks like the one from the old Nokia Windows phone. I do not think that Microsoft has not focused too much on the quality hardware. They just polished outside the device to make it look presentable. I am thinking that Microsoft may encourage other companies to make the duo with their software on it, which could put the duo on another level. This also could promote and enhance their main bread and butter, the cloud platform, along with Office 365 products. Microsoft is the software company, not the hardware. It will be very interesting to see the different interpretations of the duo from other manufacturers as Microsoft have done with the surface. The first company may be Dell?!
I’m absolutely getting one! I love everything about it.
I really want it. Probably won’t get it, but it does have my attention.
People that call this just another double screen haven’t held one. Neither have I but from all the demos the experience appears to be premium and unique. Time will tell but I can’t wait until Sept 10 to pick one up.
Do any of the reviewers know how the pre-orders are going? Does the demand appear to be underwhelming, about what to be expected or an unexpected surge in demand?
