That said, there’s a lot to choose from out there, and you don’t want to get fooled, so here’s what you need to know.
Around 5:20 in the video, we say that in Europe, class 1 e‑bikes are the most popular. Actually, the most popular e‑bikes in the EU are unregulated with motors rated at 250W.

#Electric #bikes
Would you replace a car with an electric bike?
Our roads were actually first intended for horses and bikes. Cars were prioritized much later
Here it is 2022 and the way this government is I can see this stuff blowing up on the market now
Imagine being so lazy you need your bike to be “Electric”..
Saying that the US is behind the rest of the world when it comes to bikes is like saying the US is behind the Amish when it comes to horses.
I have 1 car and 4 suv or covs and 7 bikes… I will never get rid of my cars. bikes are great for trips around and exercise but you can go 500 miles in a day with a bike
@1:24 mentioning that first hindsight probability of it working was a nice touch
Great bike for the $$
I want to learn about e bikes, but this guy is too damn hipster for me.
Cool video I’m totally thinking about getting a Rideup1 belt drive…also (my idea I will take credit!) Why doesn’t a HUGE tech/commerce/global vision forward thinking mega corp… AMAZON for instance? start making a good quality line of bikes? Somebody notify Andy J or Jeff B.…
“What the hell is that thing?” It’s an e‑bike! lol
I’m still confused, why are they petaling if it’s an Ebike? Should the E in Ebike to the petaling for you? Why would I buy this, when I can buy the one that petals for you?
Sorry how did you get from 20 Wh per hour to 34 miles?
Thanks for the great video. You taught me what to look for.
A+++++++
Is this expensive to get in to? I live in PA and want to help get out a bit and be able to run to the store alone without using my car. I also have AS, a spinal disease, so I need to get some form of exercise but it’s almost impossible to do any of the normal things with my body now. I’m 26 but my body is more like an 80 year old.
Ebikes are easier to and more likely to get stolen. We have to find a solution for that.
The dude said E bikes have been around for decades. Geez. I must live in Mayberry.
My girlfriend is visually impared. She can not legally have a driver license for a car. I was thinking of getting her an ebike. Thoughts?
Love it. Want one, Alll in.
Thee only thing is that there freakingggggg expensive, if you buy a top notch ebike you could just buy a used pretty good condition motorcycle or Vespa
If this is gonna take off, you gottaaaaaa get that pricing under control
