#Google #Pixel #upgrade
I’ve had pixels since the original but I’m out. Going back to Samsung or try something else next.
One of the main reasons I loved pixels was the unlimited free photo storage.
Lol soli is suck a hockey gimmick
Love my 512 note 9 lol
This is virtually a review lol
Google has become quite stingy with their specs. They’re only upgrading to 6 GB of RAM this year because they would take all kinds of crap otherwise from the industry. Why the downgrade on Google Photos storage? Surely customers surveyed didn’t say that they wanted less perks…Why not offer 128 GB of storage as the BASE option with an upgrade to 256 GB? Come on Google!!! Storage is cheap. Why move the lower front firing speaker to the bottom of the device? No one ever complained about dual front firing stereo speakers. While I’m on it…why did you remove the 3.5mm headphone jack after making fun of Apple, in advertising, for doing it a couple of years ago, only to bring it back on the Pixel 3a and 3a XL? I would think that people who pay a premium for a flagship smartphone would appreciate that feature as well. Why add a telephoto but not an ultrawide sensor on the back? There’s plenty of room for another sensor in that big ugly camera array on the back. I don’t see a lot of innovation here, other than the novel face unlock feature and hand gesture stuff. At least Google didn’t raise the prices. It’ll be on sale all over the place before the end of the year. .I got my Pixel 3 for $349 on contract last February, four months after it came out, that’s close to 60% off. My prediction…a great camera phone with some cool features that looks bland (wtf with that camera bump)… Google doesn’t seem to be interested in making flagships that inspire anymore, they’re following the pack more than anything. Tweak the camera tech a little, add some gingerbread and go…I do think the Google Assistant enhancements are useful though.
More google BS!! It’s not how people are using their phones, it’s how bloody google wants people to use their phones by giving them too little onboard storage and forcing them to upload to their precious photos to your cloud servers so that google can use them for their nefarious AI purposes. That’s the bald truth !!
Video???
Pitiful…
I went to google years ago because they support their phones for 3 years. No other android does that which I find very annoying & amazing conferring the price we pay for them!! Google are pushing people to store everything in the cloud which basically equates to a monthly subscription. Love & hate going on here
Lol when he says apples camera bump was uglier than the pixel’s
No one using more than 2GB ram then why 8GB???
Ram is a unused memory which can carry multiple apps, therefore a common man never use 8 apps at a same time…
Then why we need???
no..ugly, low battery capacity, motion sense not accurate, ugly camera, and expensive. i would buy samsung note 10 than this.
get a 200 Sandisk wireless stick and you’re done! Why do you need unlimited cloud storage? My only gripe is that they’re ugly. At least get us nice colors Google!
I’m seriously going to miss the Google Assistant. Siri is worth absolutely NOTHING out of english and the US.
Here’s the question.… I have a pixel 2 and want an xl.…… do I get the 3 xl, 4 xl, or hold off another year? Full disclosure‑I still do like the pixel 2 in 2019 just want a bigger phone. Thanks!
Yes
HOLD OFF… GOT IT!
Of course its fast, its a new phone lol
No freaking way im upgrading to that junk
shittiest review I’ve ever watched on Youtube
I read an article that mentioned about the lack of unlimited storage for original pics/vid this time around before I saw this video and I’m glad you brought it up! I find it a little upsetting. I own a Pixel 2 XL and my unlimited storage ends next year. If someone like me owns a Pixel 2 or 3 and want to upgrade, does that mean you can’t roll over the storage plan you have? Is it based on account or device? I just wish Google just gave us expandable storage. I’m going to miss the their signature 2 tone color on the back. Even the fingerprint sensor since I like using it to swipe down the control center without having to use my other hand. It would have been nice to give people another biometric security option to unlock the phone with an under display fingerprint sensor. At least that would give a slight edge over any iPhone user that wished Apple would integrate along with. Another feature they could’ve added to have an edge over iPhone that Samsung has, is reverse wireless charging. Would’ve been great to charge another wireless device or better yet, they’re upcoming Pixel Buds!
Normally I upgrade every my phone 2–2 1/2 years, but I think they made Pixel 4 a bit underwhelming this time around. 6GB RAM may be concerning overtime with speed like Pixel 3 especially when others are already on 8–12GB. Camera seemed like it could be better, but we’ll see what reviewers say when they do comparison, maybe they should’ve added ultra wide angle lens and I’ll say for the standard lens should’ve bumped the MP since most flagships have had 12MP for a long time.
Wishful thinking and would be nice to see these type of specs at the same price right below the $1000 mark.
I may just wait until Pixel 5 or something else.
The super res zoom on the 3 was already good and I find that most people I know like to be able to zoom in on a subject that they can’t physically get closer to while still having great detail, like Google said wide angle is fun but who cares if I can capture the whole field my kids playing on or stage someone is on id rather be able to capture them specifically from my seat, but still yes they could’ve just done all 3
“you know what, Apple showed me what ugly really was” 😂
I was about to upgrade from the 2XL to the 4XL, not anymore. I’m getting the OnePlus 7pro.
I’m currently using the original Google Pixel, so I should probably upgrade, right? Haha!
2:10 who shares photos via MMS anymore? That thing costs money
Terrible phone, Samsung dwarfs this in every way.
I love this my 3A and I will for sure upgrade.
i ligit burst out laughing when the iphone peeked its ugly 3 eyed head out.
I am waiting for the Pixel 10. I don’t have to touch and see the phone, it will be under my skin.
I cancelled my pre order. It’s not worth it several hardware factors and software factors are a downgrade.
Is the pixel XL a HTC PHONE ?! I know the pixel 4 an HTC DEVICE
I don’t think “the normals” will ever know their photos aren’t backed up in full resolution. However, do “the normals” actually buy pixel phones?
Moss would have a iPhone 11 (if it was free)
Roy would have a Pixel
64gb in 2019 because their cloud services will go out of business.
Google you let down your fans. Make it up too us. You have the resources. Hire and fire who you have to and get done right. Pretty bad.
Not good
Ligthhouse2.2
Both pixals are grossly overpriced for what’s offered. The batteries just plain suck. Yes, there both good phones but not at the current prices. 800.oo+ dollars is definitely not a road I wish to travel. The cameras are still very good, but other’s have caught up. Plus I like the transcripting capabilities but it’s still not enough for me to purchase. The 2800mamp battery with a 90hz display with soli-radar is totally unacceptable, yikes! Google, you screwed the pooch this time around. Very good review!
I had the iphonex and I just got this phone. I can tell you that I had great volume. Everybody said the calls are better. The charging is faster and stays on longer. Free music!!
Nah, I considered the pixal4 but couldn’t pull the trigger. Why? The price of course. Way overpriced for what’s offered. I chose the 3a XL. I paid 4oo.oo bucks tax included. So am I missing much? Not really, it made me & my pocketbook very happy? Saving 4to6 hundred dollars made the difference!
No finger print sensor tf
The storage isn’t an issue if you know anything about the Google Pixel 🙂 meaning Google photos is free 🙂 iCloud photos is not to back it up you have to pay for storage and 5 gigabytes of free iCloud storages peanuts compared to free unlimited pictures and videos that you can upload automatically via the Pixel 4 or any Pixel phone for that matter or any iPhone for that matter you can use Google photos and backup everything in photos and video for free again free unlimited storage storage size on these phones doesn’t matter
