Snap’s sunglasses now capture depth information so you can add 3D objects to your photos and videos. But they cost $380. Are these sunglasses worth it?

just too expensive
I will choose Huawei glass, cuz that’s what smart glass are.
I have Gen 1 & 2 but due to the cost, I’ll skip these…
What’s the song at 5:03?
I reckon it woild be cool if theser if actual ai and if people placed stickers in certain locations and you were just walking around and you could see it
Some idiots going to get hurt wearing those like riding a bike and not paying attention and riding into a car or running somebody over with their vehicle or their bike I don’t trust people there so dumb this is a stupid product
Comment if you bought the first two 😬😬😬
Augmented reality for an augmented price.
I could get an Oculus Quest for $20 more. Think about that.
We could make awesome video games out of this!
These cost as much as a phone or a smart watch that can do the same thing better without looking as ridiculous
I feel this video should have been clearer earlier that you cannot see the effects through the glasses. This is the same as walking around with your phones camera held up. Not worth that kind of money for webcam quality video and no hud. Also it’s not really AR if you are not seeing it real time. It’s just a video with post processing effects.
pretty cool. not my thing tho
Filters are free tho lol…
SNAP IS DOPE
What a load of junk
Just to be clear you only “see” the filters after you film when you open the app (you can select which you want to use) not while wearing them lmao
The future
Lol
they made shrooms into shades
I bought the first spectacles. I remember reading the news to see people lined up for these at kiosks. They were selling for insane amounts on eBay. These v2 improved with better audio quality. These version 3’s have the augmented reality but at $380 I hope sell. I personally like using the spectacles for creating content. My snap audience finds it entertaining and informational. Add me on the snap! kpboix99
The spectacles is cool but too expensive to purchase.
Finally sunglasses made exclusively for assholes
For AR 410$ For EN 380$ 😏 this price in Spectacles Web 😳
Is there a function to steadify the records from Spectacles in the app itself?
Yo mama is so snapchatty
water proof?
Wow who cares
Not impressed honestly👎
I had the first gen I can say 380 not worth it 2nd gen was only 150 they truly only marked the price up cuz it did upgrade but they don’t sell enough.
I don’t like many things about this glasses. But who cares
It’s not real time , you record then look at the phone to see what it did. So why not just use your damn phone ?
I don’t get why they add 3d effects on a vlog video. Vlogs are useful to discover teal things like places, cities ect.
That dude walks so weird & cringe in the name of “videography” 🤢🤮🤣🤣🤣
I came here looking for interactive information coming from the glasses not colorful blobs floating around. I want information like in the terminator popping up on my screen or incoming messages that I can reply to.
Yeah but connect with ur brain and ull see amazing things
Invent Ready Player One and ill buy!
Im not gnna lie. This wasn’t what I was expecting. If they gnna compete against apple, they should start integrating AR.
Waste of money..
Those glasses look awful. And the new ones look even worse.
“That’s cool.”
Is it???
Thank you for including how long the videos record for because way too many review channels left that part out
I love the design, but the campaign should have focused more on just capturing videos instead of all the AR stuff, that you essentially can apply to any video in post. However I’m super bullish on Snap as a company!
If they could see through women’s clothing…
I admire that we are moving toward a time where things are commonplace. However, it appears that we are still a few years away from the ideas that were envisioned roughly 10 years ago. We may start to see all those features once Google and Apple completely adopt them.
