Episode 01: The Orbital Test Flight of Boeing’s Starliner
[vid_tags]
On December 20th 2019 Boeing conducted the first test flight ever of their new spacecraft Starliner. Together, NASA and Boeing made history in the face of challenges. This test flight was another step toward returning American space launch capability to American shores.
This video is available for download from NASA’s Image and Video Library:

Why is NASA paying $90 million per seat to Boeing and only paying $55 million per seat to SpaceX? Seems like a raw deal for the taxpayers.
Look forward to Timing report👍
Autonomous ?
Puhlease stop the publicity videos until you have something that is:
a) not featuring special guest star and personality cult leader Jim Bridenstine
b) gonna work
c) note-worthy.

What an enormous risk NASA is taking, putting any kind of trust in Boeing
Mike Finke’s description of the breeze you feel when walking along the access arm to the capsule caught my attention: “it’s like a last kiss from mother earth — there’s no wind up at the ISS.”
I think you forgot about the key test aspect of actually going to the ISS. But hey, who cares about that part right. Just spin it any way you want to make boeing look good.
no n starlier
Ford v Ferrari except with rockets, especially for the corporate vibe and cowboy hats.
Hi, I hacked into a site, so I learned a lot about it, because it’s going to be a cross-country fight, or a disruption to people’s lives, so I’ll tell you a few things.
I knew that external life brought resources to the Earth, and that it worked with external life, and that the speed of the Earth’s rotation was increasing.
I’m going to report these to the Korean broadcasting company.
Good luck.
Lastly, I want to apologize to Australia.
Beautiful
1:00 the music gives me a Terraria vibe
All I’ll remember from this is a guy had his hard hat made into a cowboy hat!
Just imagine what SpaceX could of done getting the bid of 4.2 billion Boeing got rather than 2.6 billion. NASA gave SpaceX 60% as much money as Boeing and SpaceX gave NASA a capsule and rocket with seat cost 60% of Boeing, a ballpark savings of 136 million every launch. That’s enough to send almost 2000 people to MIT on full ride $70,000 scholarship to become rocket scientists and engineers for every launch NASA uses Crew Dragon instead of Boeing’s Starliner.
make some episode on crew dragon test fight ploz
Crew dragon demo 1 deserved to have some episodes
Boeing is an overrated underperformer.
Why is everyone wearing protective eyewear — even the NASA representative?
When and why was the technology of the camera tripod lost ? lord I need some dramamine after watching this shaky cam video.
wow, totally re-branded… unnecessary propaganda much? Did they actually change doctor the video? I don’t recall it being branded as Orbital Test ANYWHERE before this.
this lady chin is crazy long
SpaceX > Boeing
What happened to your video on going to mars? You also stated you were going to the moon again but that never happened either. It reminds me of that one school kid that keeps telling lies.

Interesting times👍
Looking at this in October 2022, after Mann and Josh launched aboard a Crew Dragon capsule, to the ISS.
