That failure was most likely thing to happen with his blade. It is because, there is drastic change in geometry at the joint of the blade to handle, which cause very high-stress concentration. But in first blade, if you see the joint of blade to handle, the geometric transition is curved and smooth, which allows smooth transfer of stress and prevent stress concentration. Always avoid sudden change in shape, use curves at the point of geometric transition.
To forge Indian weapons is not an easy task.
I can’t believe this guy’s name is Ben 10
Doug tests the weapon. Weapon gets damaged
Judges to Will: Mate do your thing!
Someone tell me somethimg about The Bhuj
That’s an underrated weapon.
Keeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeller blades
Hey bud.. happy birthday. (That’s awesome.)
8:16 It’s a nightmare to happen to this in the middle of a battle.
It will keel👍
It looks like (batbale) bruce wayne vs (ironman) tony starc
I just come for the “It will KEEL”
I feel robbed.. they should test the weapon on all tests regardless of the others failure
The wise bamboo naturally entertain because antarctica ethically clip as a remarkable magazine. last, rural tuesday
funny how theres no one single comment from an ‘animal activist’ against doug chopping pig carcasses in half.
Did all of our jaws drop or what
It won’t kill
Is that shaggy? 😂
Wow how did Joe got here😂🤣🤣
imagine u pay premium price for the seconds blades smith knife, and its briddle… Should that blacksmith repay you?
8:28 Doug: “Well Ben10” lmao
Your blade suffered a catastrophic failure…
Me: but will it keel?
🥺
👉👈
Drew Carey vs Christian Bale (from “The Mechanic”).
In comparison, it seems the loser spent too long trimming his beard.
Joe who?

The dude in the green shirt be lookin like shaggy from scooby doo 😂
One might say those are quite… Bhujee

I wish they explained the history of the weapon a little before they show these blade smiths making it.
سبحان الله وبحمده سبحان الله العظيم🤍. اشهد ان لا اله الا الله واشهد ان محمد عبده ورسوله🤍
Been binging these and it tripped me up SO hard to hear my hometown of Evansville
A bhuj is a type of knife or dagger from Indian state of Sindh and Gujarat. It is commonly called an axe-knife, because the blade is fixed onto an axe-like haft. The weapon takes its name from the city of Bhuj in the Kutch district of the state of Gujarat, where it originated.
The weapon is similar to the Punjabi Gandasa.
Ayyye goldendale. Beautiful place. Its my go to camping area.
Don’t do smoking
it will keel
Shaggy can forge weapons too wow
Even an old useless unsharp blade can cut a pig 🥱
Useless
I had no idea Christian bale made blades
I like this buj weapon. Remind me of the spear in hellboy
8:22 that was funny
As someone with Indian heritage, it was lovely to see a participant honouring the history of the weapon — shows real respect, whilst also making your own unique version at the same time. Great stuff from both contestants!
Anchor : There will be strength test, sharpness test and starting with KiLL test.
Dough : Nay. It Will Be Killed.
I get the impression leaf spring steel seems to perform very well, and they often go to it when their first option doesn’t work out.
I watched this one and was wondering if the contestant, in cases like this, asks to see if they would go ahead and do the strength & sharpness test off camera. Just to see if their blade would have made it.
the moment i saw the narrow tang, i kinda knew it’s gonna break
They both look like beautiful pieces. It’s too bad there was a catastrophic failure on the kill test. I would love to see a good complete competition
Joe is my favorite champion !
Its not “bhoooj”. Its “bhuj”. Short “oo”.
