Does the average person in 2020 “need” a laptop/computer or is a smartphone enough?
Yeah I have the nexdock 360. It finally came in after 9 months.
U can connect to your tv. Watching movies in the big screen. This is brilliant samsung.
No portrait mode
I set my dex up with a big monitor and keyboard and mouse. And stream Xbox pass games with it. Plus play games on the big screen with an Android controller
This is the FUTURE. All you need an USB‑C to HDMI cable. You’re good to go with any display.
We need this feature direct from ANDROID than any OEM’s. Regards.
the drawback for me is still the price, u can get a full chromebook for the same price and tbh most ui’s on phones like samsung DeX are about as limiting as the chromebook os. there literally isnt a reason for this to exist if its at that price
Motorola is Ready For
I ordered this after your video… a year ago paid and everything still not arrived.
Is there anything like this that actually available at the moment?
This is great for a phone that has a broken screen
Is this product in full production Yet.
Android seems more fitting for a laptop tbh
how did you record the scene where your hands are using the computer?
I wonder if you cab run games from like steam
This is better than a laptop a monitor and a tv

WoW!!!!!!!
Hp jamas debio descontinuar su hp lapdock x2, era un excelente producto
But can it run crysis?
Would love that one.
I just use my Alienware monitors n samsung Qled tvs at the house for my dexs n I find myself using my S20 plus n S20 ultra n Note 20 ultra n even my s21 ultra on Xbox game pass with dex over my main Xbox series S and X consoles.. I dunno why honestly. But I just like it better lol. And dude this with dex and game pass can replace the series S and Xbox one s all digital consoles… because honestly the S10 series S20 series Note10 series Note 20 series and S21 series and the s22 series are all ridiculously fast n powerful phones that are capable of running those games easily. And ontop of it it turns into a laptop… so you got a xbox series S , laptop n phone all in one with dex.…
the laptop is a waste of cash, just wirelessly connect it to a tv and get a cheap bluetooth travel keyboard.
this will be so useful for remote control like for your work or when you are travelling and you need to remote control your pc for any reason
did this work with OnePlus products?
0:30 got interesting fast
Really interesting idea but imo the price relagates it to a niche product. I can buy a Chrome laptop for the same or less money and access most of my data from the cloud. I am about to leave on an extended trip abroad, and how I am hoping to use Samsung Dex is by connecting my S21 to hotel tvs. I am carrying a collapsible keyboard and cables. Hopefully it will work! I see that Nex has expanded into several other products, all great ideas. I hope they can gain traction and then reduce prices. Thanks for the video. I hadn’t heard of Nex previously. 👍🏽
I had an awful experience with the micro-SD slot. I don’t know happened but when I put the card in, it didn’t go in the reader slot. Somehow the card slipped in above the reader slot. It took me forever to get it out of there In the process I ruined my 256K card and I lost fair amount of data. Most of it was backed up, but still.
To fix it I bought a cheap Micro SD to Micro SD extension cable and double checked the card reader to see if it still worked. Gratefully it did. I carefully inserted a 64gb card. It took a few moments to make 100% sure it was in the reader slot. It worked, I can use the card for storage and back up. However, that card is stuck. There is no spring pushing it back out, any pressure on the card just pushes it in further, so unless I want to ruin the card like the first one. Its permanent storage now. The micro card reader gets zero stars. The track pad is disappointing at best. I don’t even try to use it. A wireless mouse works fine. The keyboard works well, very similar to my chrome book. I like the touch screen. The 1‑watt speakers are meh. But I didn’t buy it for the speakers, Bluetooth ear buds or a speaker works better anyway. The battery is okay I guess, I keep it plugged in when possible. I’ve seen some pictures of Nextdocs with side mounts so that can hang their phones next to the screen. Great Idea! Your phone becomes a second screen, right? However, I have a big phone (Samsung S22 Ultra) and the hinges on the Nextdoc, won’t support the weight if I push the screen past a 45-degree angle. Not the manufactures fault just something I noticed. Overall, I don’t use it like I thought I would, and it’s not as portable as a laptop because you must have your phone plugged in. Laptops are still easier to use on a plane. The other thing I realized is that DEX stands for DESK top experience not laptop experience. All carry on vacation is my phone, a folding keyboard, a mouse and a couple of dongles that make it easy to plug in to smart TV, a monitor at a hotel or on a cruise in the business center. Dex is so much better when used with a full-sized monitor. If I had a do over on this, I wouldn’t buy one.
If 3.1 lbs. is too heavy for you, go to the gym. Seriously, why would you want a lighter lapdock considering lighter likely means it would move around when placed on a desk or table, or changing from an aluminium body to a plastic body? Samsung DeX is a game changer when you realise your smartphone is a full-featured computer and should be treated as such. The NexDock 360 is even better then the NexDock 2 / NexDock 2 Touch. I migrated from an Hewlett-Packard Spectre X360 with a NexDock 360 powered by a Samsung S22 Galaxy S22 Ultra and Samsung DeX.
Infact they don’t even understand that a small idea can transform entire industry the way people intract with the device
I used to use dex on my old laptop because it barely runs windows 10 so having dex was really good
Samsung does a poor job promoting this feature. As expensive as Flag Ship and laptops get, it should pull in more younger workers to invest more in the phone and just a little more on the laptop. But, like my daughter, they HAVE to have an IPhone.
I love it but the issue, is I can’t do it on a school desktop since it doesn’t have dex emulator on it. 😂
Nice work 😊😊😊😊
pls help the next version of this ‚is bigger and has wireles charging, but i need a demo version how to get it???
