Skateboarders fear change. Having skated for 20 years now, I fear change. Enter the Unlimited x Loaded electric skateboard conversion kit: It’s a kit that lets you convert the old skateboard you know and love into an electric one. After years of resisting, I finally put a motor on it.

Yeah it would be better if they drove both wheels simultaneously, if you had a long motor with a worm gear you could use a standard wheels plus you’re driving both wheels and having a gearing. nobody makes a version like that
Thanks for watching!! Holler at me with any questions.
Superfun
Cool video, but dude, you’re gonna get wheel bite with wheels that big on a deck like that with no wheel wells or cutouts. As for RKP trucks, they’re not proprietary to Loaded, they’re just standard on general longboards, which is the kinda deck that’s recommended for the kit. You’re spot-on in saying that eboards aren’t meant to replace regular boards, they’re just meant for commuting and bombing streets at hill speeds. Enjoy!
I think I would just buy a boosted board since this kit is so expensive. ..and the boosted goes a lot farther on a single charge..just sayin…cool video though!!
Having skated for 20 minutes, I fear pushing.
Cool…:D
The one wheel drive skateboards are always more squrrly. You could have got a direct drive, two wheel drive, revell kit for the same price or less. Top speed of 27mph with a range of 6 to 10 miles.
Seven hundred and you still need to assemble it?
Waaaaay overpriced. You’re better off buying a proper electric board and keeping your old school skate board intact.
Boosted board is dead 💀 now a new company
I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again, this guy Nic is the future of CNET.
Great work fellas, keep up the work 😁
Feels weird seeing Mccaren in a YouTube video.
I dreams like testing skateboard electric First time.
900 bucks for single hub? you can buy the parts for around 200.
Trial and error is a beautiful thing. It’s dope. 800 bucks is steep but if the board breaks you can just get a new one.
$900 no thanks
After the skateboard dies can you treat it like a regular skateboard by using your feet?
I like this guy. lol
Bruh, a boosted mini costs $750. This is definitely not worth it…
7 miles ain’t enough life time lol
Way too expensive. It is just Chinese ODM product with an American label.
Well yeah it’s made for longboard. Longboards are made for travel not tricks.
The revel kit is a much better conversion kit than this and for half the price!
Mounted both trucks wrong 😂😅
Still waiting for this conversion to be seamless..someone needs to build the battery into the truck and get that damn wheel size down
Have you tried unlimited mode yet, needs a software update apparently, but could suit a normal skaters riding style better than relying on the remote so much. Be interested to hear what you make of it.
Electric skateboard needs a kickstart? Ew, that’s no good for hill-starts…
Hes so fun to watch :D.
I do MTB, same for me in regards to ebikes.. lol.. I ain’t getting one, no way! However I am interested in getting an electric skateboard ..lol.. that I don’t mind.
You got scammed
First time here. Nice vid, nice feeling to watch. You guys are formidable
I’m from the good old days with 90 and 92 wheels and this stupid kit will not do it for me
Wondering why it’s so expensive compared to just getting an electric skateboard
cewek kok berkumis??
Dog town, dog town baby 😭
I’m glad an actual skater made a vid about this and dude is funny af
SEND ONE TO BRAILLE ARMY NOW ! ! ! ! !
Skateboard trucks are basically a hinge that makes them turn around a line between the pivot cup and the middle of the bushings. “Reverse kingpin” trucks aren’t on backwards, they’re just a different design that moves the axle to the other side of the bushings
My 120 dolar board does the same exact thing sir u got ripped for 770
Aye awesome video an we’ll said on most stuff in video besides u can build a powerful one fo less than $200 if u try a lil to look fo real
lol for $769 you can actually buy a couple of dual-motor electric skateboards with +150W/h battery xD
this is so funny he says hes been skating for 20 years and then he proceeds to put the trucks on backwards causing them to turn the opposite direction. then he says they are design for proprietary reverse truck yet that’s not the case the installation was just based on reverse king pin trucks which are common with any longboard or cruiser so they are not proprietary they are actually a standard and thee standard for eskates. i wonder how someone goes around getting a job at CNET because it would be much more constructive if i got a job there instead of always correcting their hosts in the comments of their videos
2:40 is when I left with the speed of light!
